Please take a moment to leave a flower for Mom, Shannon Howard.|
I do my genealogy to honor my mother. She was very interested in our family history, both her own as well as my dad's side. She was always trying to peak my interest, to no avail. About a year after she passed away I was going through some of her papers and I was bitten by the bug.
My main interests are with the Kamery, Fahey, Howard, Hyde, Chrisman, Hill and John families of Nebraska, Missouri, Virginia and Olean/Hinsdale, New York. I have a special interest in Madison Square Cemetery in Loup County west of Taylor, Nebraska.
If you are interested in an original copy of any picture I've posted please contact me and I'll be happy to forward it to you.

Hello, I am very interested in the pictures you posted on "Find A Grave Memorial# 124388436". As well as any information about where you got those pictures or any info about the parents would be much appreciated. Nellie Hiner Waite Sevier, the infants mother, is my 2 times great grandmother. The infants name is Charles Edward Hiner. I would also like a copy of the pictures if you wouldn't mind. Thank you.

Guess what, you haven't seen this. Her brother Michael just recently passed away three months after her. So pray for Michael and Joan. Here's Joan's obituary:
Memorial services for Joan Dawson of Chadron, Nebraska will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Dr. Russ Seger officiating. Private family burial will be at the Hyannis Cemetery.
Joan Francis (Haggerty) was born March 26, 1937 to Charles and Edwina (Sharp) Haggerty. She went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2017 at Crestview Care Center.

She then married Larry Lucas on December 23, 1978. They were married for 23 years. Joan moved to Gordon and Martin, SD for work before coming back to Chadron.
Joan always enjoyed baking and cooking, she was best known for her cream pies. She was also a great homemaker and always made you feel at home.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Edwina Haggerty, Husband, Robert Dawson, Brother Chuck Haggerty, infant sister Helen Marie Haggerty, and ex-husband Larry Lucas.

Dear Walking the Past,
I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the National Direcotry of the 355th Infantry Association, Harold Grint of Sargent, Nebraska was a member of this unit. My grandfather was Gunder Anderson.
I'm not certain where I'm headed with my project, but I want to eventually publish something. With your permission, I would like to use your photograph of the gravestones of Harold and Helen Grint (Find A Grave Memorial# 58195375). Please let me know whether this is acceptable.
Thank you for your consideration.
With kind regards,

I'd like to see if you'd consider transferring the following two memorials to me. Elizabeth Smith #41557073 and Stewart Smith #41557078. They are my husband's great grandparents. Thanks for your time and consideration. Laurie Davis Hannah #47087860

I believe that the date of birth for William should be 1856 rather 1876. Believe that inscription on Grave stone can be read as 57 years rather than 37 years.... If 37 is correct his first son was born when he 11. Please review
Albert Erickson was only 15 when he died. The woman buried next to him was his aunt, not his wife as the shared headstone seems to suggest. Teresa Cooney was married to Albert's uncle, Carl Albert Erickson (1879 - 1960). Carl probably bought the plot next to Teresa for himself but ended up moving to the west coast shortly after her death. He is buried in Los Angeles, California.

Good evening, I would like a copy of the picture of Edgar Royal Road's monument. I would use it to be posted on the Vermont Civil War Site. ( www.vermontcivilwar.org) He was a Native Vermonter, and I am trying to identify where many of our "old soldiers have their last resting place.
Thank you so much; you will receive credit for it. Deanna French

It seems she was married twice. 1st to C.E. Martin and then to Albert Mikkelsen. I believe her marker is in CA.
Maxwell Cemetery, Maxwell, Colusa County, CA
To add to all the confusion there is an entry for her under #140659610 also.
After Jennie's death, her brother James' widow married Jennie's widowed husband. Sounds like a soap opera, huh?
