Please let me know if I have made any errors and I will correct them. I am happy to add information to any of the memorials.|
Please use the edit tab on the memorial page for corrections, additions or transfers.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. (FAG guidelines) If you can, please request changes through the edit tab on the memorial.
This is such a great way to find all those people who have gone before us and just get lost over the succeeding generations.
I look forward to finding many more of my own "lost" relatives that have gone before me and are waiting to be found in a little cemetery somewhere. I hope that I may have found some of yours here in Charles Mix County.

Not sure that the information about her being buried in East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon Iowa is correct. Her husband moved there several years later but she died in Armour, Douglas County, South Dakota in 1902. South Dakota Historical Society's cemetery search lists her as buried in Grandview Cemetery, Lot 6. No photo of that though, so I'm not positive that she was not reinterred in Sheldon. I'm not close to either location to check it out, but I would appreciate any further information you could provide.

There are prior memorials for Henry and Elydia
that I have made albeit I did not know where they were buried. They are already connected to other members of family. Please delete your memorials of the Odlands. I will give you credit for locating their cemetery though.

Hi, Becky, I was going to suggest you leave it there to associate her with her husband and other Ulrich relatives, but it looks like you already deleted it. :) I think all the records can be linked via Find A Grave, so it will be fine.
What sort of record was it? Was it on a joint tombstone with her husband, EB Ulrich?
Thanks for whatever insight you can provide.

Thank you so much for your contributions to Find a Grave! I'm so excited to find a grave you just posted in 2016 for my Mother's Uncle, Alvarez Richardson, at White River Cemetery, near White River, South Dakota. I've looked at plots at the Cemetery but can't find his name listed. Was wondering what the Grave Site looked like. My Great Grandfather and his brothers all had unusual first names: Alceres, Alveteius, and Alvarez. Their father had served in the Mexican War and thought the names fascinating.
I thought you might edit Alvarez's death date. I found it listed in the South Dakota Death Index. Death is noted: Jan. 1, 1932, Jones County, South Dakota. D.O.B. is 12/27/1857.
Thank you so much for your assistance!
