Anyone who finds a photo of their relatives tombstones on a memorial, taken by myself, has my permission to use it. Photo credit would be appreciated! Earlier photo's were downgraded in size to fit this site's requirements and I normally have a higher resolution photo, just ask.

If I remember right, this stone was by a group of trees, but I don't remember if it was by any other headstones. I'm sorry I'm not more help. We will most likely be at the cemetery before May, and I'll certainly pay attention and let you know.

I'm sorry, I don't know the exact location of this stone. My husband and I took pictures of the entire cemetery and are adding pictures, linking family members and adding new names. I just added this because it seemed an honor to him, and I would guess the red oak trees were planted in his honor. We live about 75 miles away, but if we're back at that cemetery, I can see where the stone is in relation to the family plot.

RE: looking for a grave site
Thank you for the quick response. When I was there last year, I didn't know what to look for, and I just wandered around. Now I know what to look for and that they are next to the above ground tomb. I think that will help a lot. Thanks!!

looking for a grave site
Paul - you are credited with the photo of my 3x great-grandfather Daniel Porter Smith in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Cemetery. I have been to the cemetery to look for the grave but had no idea where to look. That is a big cemetery and I was not able to find the actual grave site. Do you have any idea of location? A general area would really help.

RE: Newman Family Photo's
Paul: I am happy for you to use the photos, I also put them up on the site because I buy and resale antiques. They were sitting here for a few months trying to find the related family they belong to as I normally do. With no luck I took them to the Antique store, but after looking today they are still in stock so I brought them home with me. There are apx 30 vintage original photos including the ones I placed on find a grave.

Are you immediate family? If so I want them to be with their respective relatives. I will be glad to send them to you.

I am also happy to find their own people once again. Someone had donated them to Goodwill and I purchased them hoping to reunite with family once again.
Is there anyway to private message so I can get these home?

Thank you so much for your edit. Glad to find his actual resting place. Would you like me to send information I found for him to be added to his page? I will wait until Oakwood is notified with amended information before deletion.
