Retired CPA lived in Whitefish, Montana and recently moved to Columbia Falls, Montana. (only 4 mile away.)|
Family history has been a hobby for about 40 years. I am willing to help with grave photos in Montana.

Sorry I thought you looked at your edits first that I sent. I didn't add the city on the death which was Newport, Pend Oreille County
Washington, USA thanks

I'm pretty well done with Gunder and Bergit now, if you want to take another look. I still will tie their son, Ole G. Rue, B/B's great-grandfather, to Gunder and Bergit, but have had no response from that administrator so far. Gunder is on Ethel's side of the family.

You are very welcome!
Yeah, I know! Gerald, of course! Got the name "Jörgen" stuck in my head!

Long story short: I have a short letter written in 1980 to Valdi (Valdimar Bjornson) and signed "Vivian". In the note is an old photo and Vivian wrote: "Found the enclosed picture in my Aunt Lu's things. I recognize 1. Aunt Lu, 2. Sigga Frost, 3. --- , 4. Sadie Dumke, 5. Dora Harvey.
Questions: Is the writer Vivian Cunningham? Who is Aunt Lu?
George, we are cousins. I grew up in the Minneota area. You are descended from Sigurbjorg Siguršard. and I from her sister Oddny. I now live in Iceland on the farm where they were born and grew up. Ileen Peterson and I have been in contact.
Thanks for taking the time to try to locate and photograph a marker. I really appreciate it.

Thank you for creating their memorials & adding a picture of the headstone. They were my grandparents, and I live too far away to go to the cemetery.

You are welcome, the headstone was quit overgrown and I did not have anything with me to fully expose it. when I get back up there I will take my little tools and see if I can get the whole headstone.
