When I'm not working, I try to work on local family genealogies. I update FindAGrave with the obituaries and funeral notices I find through Google's News Archives.|
I'm currently working full time, and may (or may not) be working abroad next year. Please be understanding if my responses are slow or unsatisfactory!
PLEASE feel free to use any of the photographs of the headstones that I've taken on this site. I volunteer my time in order to help others with their genealogy. It would be nice to be notified if one of the pictures is being used, but I don't need it.
NOTE also that the obituaries I post (especially ones taken from Google News Archive) may or may not accurately reflect the date that the obituary was published. Most of the news papers I've encountered for the Beaver Falls area are fairly accurate, but there are a few where several dates are clumped under one heading. I try to make notes with the pictures I upload, but some may get missed.

Syd, You have posted photos of the
Beaver Falls Cemetery and Mausoleum
I am hoping you are close to this cemetery. I was wondering if I can transfer these two memorials to you? At one time I thought they were in my family tree, but there was a mistake in family records.

I am in Texas. Let me know, Sandy

Sorry, but I checked with the Times and they will not give permission to copy their obituaries.

Hello Ms Copeland.....do you by chance know if there is a headstone or grave marker for Margaret and/or Paul Coffey? I have been to the cemetery several times and unable to locate them. Please advise

|William Deshane||Antonio Caputo and Rafaella Greco Caputo|
I am looking for information on Anthonio (Anthony) Caputo, and Rafaella Greco Caputo. I am trying to find a connection with my Great Grandmother. She had a brother Anthony listed in her obituary from Freedom, PA, and I think this might be the same one, is there any way to get a copy of his obit.? also my 95 year old aunt seems to remember a Rafaella from Freedom when she visited there... could possible be the same... would also like a copy of her Obit if possible... I have Anthony's birth year listed as 1862 in Cosenza, Italy?? this Antonio was born in 1861, so my calculations may be off... thank you in advance, keeping my fingers crossed for a connection, and that one piece of information that will get me back one more generation....

Thanks, Ms. Copeland! I appreciate the addition to my gr-gr-grandmother's memorial! Ruth Thompson

Elizabeth was born in the Radford District of Nottingham, England, and may have been married prior to her marriage to Horatio Charles James Bird on 2 October 1836. They immigrated 11 April 1842 through the port of New Orleans and came up the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area. They settled in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, in the 1860s, where Elizabeth died on 6 September 1877. Two children were born in Nottingham: Ann, who married Mannon McPherson, and Eliza. A son, Charles, was born in the U.S., served in the Civil War and died in Salisbury Prison, North Carolina, as a prisoner of war.
I would appreciate it if you would add the above to Elizabeth's memorial #79824610. Thanks so much for all you do on Findagrave.com!
