|Sue Cross||Perry L. Sanford|
Perry L. Sanford is not on our Veterans List for Blooming Valley Cemetery. Can you tell me where you discovered he was a Civil War vet so we can get him added?
Thanks so much for any help.

This is the third time I am requesting this information be inserted into memorial #128131958 via the SAC (edit tab) and writing here. Please process this information as I work in this cemetery often and none of my edits going through until they're auto-processed after 21 days. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Kathi
John is the son of Daniel McMartin b. abt 1808 and Elizabeth b. abt 1809. Both
state born in NY. John's father died between the 1850 Genesee Co & 1860 Erie Co
His siblings were Malcolm b. about 1835 in NY, Catherine b. abt 1837 in Ontario,
Canada. John's mother and both siblings are still living in Newstead, Erie Co.,
NY in the 1880 census.
John shares a large monument with John S. Skinner and his children Charles &
Hattie. It is not clear on what the relationship is between the two families

Hi Dennis, I have left several edits for members of my family at Shreve Ridge in Pa, as I am trying to connect Albert Sampson to his father Axel Sampson in Bradford Pa. Thank You
|Elizabeth Davidson||Reily Vinton Cheney Cemetery|
I thought that this could be the marker for William Riley Vinton that is the father of Daniel Frank Vinton buried at the Jackson Run Cemetery. His spouse was Mary Ann Sterns.
You made a comment about Goodwill Hall, and I was wondering where that information came from. Perhaps I could use it to learn more about this ancestor, possibly my great-great grandfather.
Any help would be awesome,

I've been slowly photographing the stones in this cemetery which is no small feat given the condition of most of them. I'm finding several stones not on the list (found online), transcription errors, several instances where the list contains the maiden name when it should be a married name ie; Jane Smith wife of Daniel Jones and she's listed under Jane SMITH (as an example).
I'm also finding several cenotaphs for the same people at Evergreen Lawn Cemetery for which I unknowingly created duplicate memorials. I'm slowly going back and deleting them as I add photo's of the same people to Maple Lawn.
I've probably sent quite a few edits through to you already, and no doubt there will be more. I just wanted you to know why you're getting them all.

Please remove the fact that she was a DAR member.
DAR was not established until 1890. She died in 1861.

I've committed what I'm sure is a FindaGrave sin. I was working on my Eliakim Scofield line in the Corry, PA area and couldn't find a listing for his sister-in-law, Elizabeth (who is buried right next to him). So I created a page, added Mom & Dad, as well as all the siblings and her husband, and posted it
Then I realized that you already had one, but it didn't have all the ancillary information. So, now there are two. Since mine has far more information, perhaps you'd consider deleting yours.
For relevance, Eliakim and Rachel (Elizabeth's sister) are my 3rd great grandparents, so I'm in the actual line of descendants.
Your Elizabeth: 106252308
My Elizabeth: 162758874
Sorry for the duplication.
|ME Three||Charles A Gamin|
Memorial #127680095 you state that Charles was in the Civil War but I do not think that is correct. Charles Gamin born 1821 in England died 1869 in New York was my great grandfather. Charles Arthur Gamin was a second cousin 2x removed and he served in the Civil War. Although the record for his head stone says he is buried in Maple Lawn he is really buried in Salisbury, Herkimer, New York along with his wife. Did you actually see the grave of Charles Gamin husband of Caroline Blackmore Gamin or was this information forwarded to you? I have searched since 1999 and have found no record of my great grandfather ever serving during the Civil War. Non of the records I have indicate a middle name for him either.
Thank you for any light you are able to shed on this situation.
