Bio Photo my parents are Donald and Ella(Ireland) LAKE of Malden fathers dad was Harry Lake mother Effie Foley..all from n.s Canada family moved to maine and mass. Harry's mother was Margaret( Whittier)Worth(married a second time) my Moms parents were David Stewart Ireland and Annie Rattary(Black)although Annie was born in ludlow Mass her entire family was from Scotland as was Davids Family including him. ..I still live in mass and have 3 children.and love spending time preserving our family history...

Dear Bernice,

Thank you so much for your replies and research. The whereabouts of Ellen's burial is still a mystery. I am only a few years into my genealogical research and moved from MA to FL which makes some things more difficult to uncover. I'm going to reach out to my in-laws in the next week or so (my father-in-law is the Crimmins side in this search) in hopes that he has a little more info.

In the meantime, I so appreciate the time and effort you used to try to help me solve the mystery!

Should be interested to see what you find....I missed something til you see on the right side of his grave card...they stamped 12/22/ yeah he would have been re-buried from overseas in 1948.
