Lloyd Atteberry memorials
Donna - Over the last few months, I have discreetly tried to contact you via email, the “Edit” tab and a message board post. There has been no response. Apart from contacting findagrave, the only other option I have left is to explicitly ask you here to delete your memorials for Lloyd Atteberry, 18795409 and 18795589. First, findagrave policy does not allow the Columbia Cemetery memorial because this child has a known reburial location elsewhere. Secondly but more importantly, your memorials are duplicates of #11100515, and unfortunately they are spreading misinformation. This baby is Lloyd ATTERBURY, not Atteberry, and he was the son of Isom Fuller “I. F.” Atterbury and Ida Lancaster Atterbury, not Thomas Atteberry and Mary Chambers Atteberry. You must have based your memorials on “Columbia Cemetery, Boulder, Colorado, 1870 to the Present”, which is now known to have incorrect information about baby Lloyd. Look at the primary sources (cemetery books, cemetery deed, obituary, newspaper articles, county history biographical sketch, etc.) as well as Lloyd’s grave marker, and you will see that the Columbia research project has (had) his name and parents wrong. Mary McRoberts, head of that project done by Boulder Genealogical Society, is aware of the mistakes and is working to correct them. Feel free to contact her, if you don’t believe me. The last time I looked, Lloyd’s bio page in the on-line version of the Columbia project had been updated, but the “A” index page and lot burial map still had “Atteberry” and the wrong parents. Again, the headstone in Green Mountain, Lot D-354, pretty well says it all. So, please delete your memorials, and let me know if you have questions.

Lloyd Atteberry/Atterbury memorials
Hi Donna - A message I sent to the email address on your profile page,, bounced back with a "permanent failure" error message. Please get in touch with me at about your memorials #18795409 and #18795409. It's pretty complicated, and I don't think we want to handle it on our message boards! (-: Thanks, Amy

Please transfer my father's memorial #18904740 (Norman George Alvis) to me as I would like to maintain it and make sure his information is accurate. My contributor number is 48398304. Thank You! (This is my second request!)

Would you please consider transering Mabel Schilling to me Find A Grave# 47122231. She is my grandson's great grandmother and I have more information that I would like to post on her memorial. Thank you.

Mary Polly Chambers Atteberry
Are you a descendant of Thomas Atteberry & Mary Polly Chambers? If so, we are cousins - I descend from John R Chambers, brother of Mary (Polly).

Are you a Walrod descendant? I see you posted the funeral card of Frank Walrod in Fairmount Cemetery.

RE: Bradford link
This work is so much fun as well as interesting. I did most of all of the work in the late 1990's and have just recently come back to it. I applied to and was accepted by the General Society of Mayflower Decendants on my Bradford line. Boy, was it a lot of work getting together Birth, Death and Marriage certificates for all.

Constant according to Family Tree Maker was my half 7th Grand Grand Uncle so I guess we share a couple of DNA's LOL.

I really appreciate your quick responses to my requests. Thank you very much.

Stay well,
