Military wife of 27 yrs, mother, family genealogist and photo volunteer for my area (and when I'm traveling).|
Before fulfilling photo requests, I've learned to confirm the decedent is actually in that cemetery. Therefore, in order to aid family genealogists, I will attach found documents to the page. Once documents are obtained by genealogists, please send me a message and so I can delete the documents from that page...(include their findagrave #).
If you've transferred management to me, thank you...I don't ask unless I have significant data/photos that I feel are important enough to add :)
NOTE TO SELF:
Adding link from one memorial to another.
Listed below makes it easier, instead of searching through FAQ.
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>
*REMOVE SPACE BETWEEN < and a (beginning) & < / (after the word "Name" at the end).
**WHERE XXXXXXX is, ADD their FAG memorial number.
***ADD their name where is says "Name" in the link.

I just noticed your note @ the Macnaughton's being near the Lovell's. I did see their stones by the Lovell's. Are you looking for photos of them as well?

I plan on working on the 50 requests in this cemetery, and I notice you had grave locations on your requests for the Brookings family. May I ask where you obtained the details? It would be much easier if I had such info. Thanks

If you call the Lakeview Cemetery office in Calumet MI at 906-337-2510 and get the burial location I'd be happy to get a picture for you.

A while back you requested a photo of the stone for EODC Scott Dayton at Arlington National. His stone was just put in place this past week, and I've posted photos of it on his memorial.
Thank you for your patience!

The info that was emailed has been included in her memorial in a more consise format, more suitable for the display. The birth/death info was already on the page so it was not duplicated. Thank you for your contribution. Zoe

A wonderful memorial. John and I were childhood friends in Belmont, MA. His wife Ruth lived a block away. Both were great people to know. Dick Finnick
Many of the headstones out at the Fort Bliss Cemetery are very hard to read due to age, striations in the marble and etchings on white marble with no letter darkening. If you will click on the photo to enlarge a couple times, it is easy to read.
