Some of my memorials are based on personal research into my family history. The majority, however, are based on information provided by others, taken from grave markers or from obituaries I've found. I cannot guarantee the accuracy of information from these sources, but believe most of it is correct. |
I have photographed grave markers at several local cemeteries. Some of them have no death date. To protect their privacy I research the person and delete the grave marker or their identity on double markers if I cannot locate a death date. The exception is when the birth date is 100 years or more in the past.
I am not perfect and make my share of errors. I may inadvertently add a duplicate memorial. If you find a duplicate OR ANY error in information, photo placement, or family link, PLEASE let me know. I strive for accuracy which is so important to those of us tracing our family history.
Feel free to use any of the pictures I have posted.
Most of the memorials I've added are for those not related to me. If you would like a transfer of someone not related to me, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be glad to transfer your relative or acquaintance to you. Each transfer is a success in this fascinating process.
Names in my family tree include:
CHAMBERS, PRUITT (many spellings), HICKS, ELDER, DUNCAN, KUYKENDALL (several spellings), FORD, SHIELDS, STOCKTON, EMERT and many other ancestors and descendants of these names.

Could you change "spouse" Ausie Weeks to "father", please?
Ausie Weeks was Johnnie's father, not his spouse.
Terri S Burnette
Thanks so much for following up with the transfers.

Please transfer ownership of the record you created for my father Fred F. Griffin, Jr. I actually created a record for my Dad and then later discovered that you had also done so. I would like to straighten this out.
Thank you very much,
Dianne Griffin Hunter

Just a note to request that this individual's parents be added to his page. He is my uncle (middle name James, if you choose to modify that as well), and his parents (my paternal grandparents) are Memorials #68829869 and #68829800 respectively. Additionally, his wife's maiden name was Jamison.
If you could make the changes at your convenience that would be swell. Or, if you prefer, you could alternatively transfer "ownership" of his and Virginia's pages to me. That way I can make the changes as well as add her parents, sibling, etc.

Hi. I just discovered my childhood on this site. Since you maintain the memorial, I was wondering if his name is spelled correctly? I always thought it was "Danny" instead of "Dannie". The obit spells it as Danny Deyton. The funeral home marker spelled it "Dannie". Can you please find out which one is correct. I knew him and his family in the 70's before he and Fay ever had a child.
This wasn't what I was hoping to find when I started searching but thanks for posting this for now I know. Please let me know about his name's spelling.
