We reside in Jacksonville, Florida but travel through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia frequently.|
We began our genealogy searches for both our families and realize that every person you meet in person or on the internet could be someone that gives you that one piece of family history you've been searching for.
We wanted to be able to help others find their loved ones and will try to get pictures whenever possible.

Dear Dave & dee, I was checking some edits I sent to the memorial for George A. Hess when I was confused by the dates on the gravestone photo you had added. I realised you had added a photo for George A. Acosta not George A. Hess. Then I checked the cemetery for a George A. Acosta and found you had created a duplicate memorial for him. The original was created on Aug.15,2011 and your duplicate wasn't created until Sept.30,2014.
George A. Hess memorial#82479807 wrong photo
George A. Acosta duplicate memorial#136627367
George A. Acosta original memorial#74981204
Sure hope you can straighten this out. Thanks,Lily

Hi Dave and Dee! I was wondering if you would transfer this one to me? number 40290393.This is my Uncle and I would like to connect him to his parents.

I have look on Ancestry.com and I found an memorial for B.F.Carroll 1845-1917. Find A Grave Memorial# 17123490. Pvt Benjamin Langly Carrol is the name on the memorial.
It shows B.F. Carrol on the stone but the memorial reads Benjamin Langly Carrol. B.F. or B.L. or R.L.???
I am not sure if R.L. Carroll and B.F. Carroll are the same person.
So sorry for not getting back with you sooner. Can you help figure out if all the about initials are the same person?

If you aren't related to him, and don't mind giving him up, I'd love it if you would consider transferring ownership to me. He's my wife's 2x-great grandfather. He's #38405274
Thank you for letting me know about Maggie's stone.
She is buried near the Crapos. Her maiden name was Crapo and both her parents are in the Old Jacksonville cemetery as well.
Thanks again!! I really appreciate it.
Re: There is a listing for Maggie Towslee/Towsles in this cemetery. However, there is indication that her resting place has no marker and the exact location is unknown. Could she be buried near any other family members we might be able to locate?
Thank you for all the work you do.
It brought a warm smile to see my beloved family member documented.
