If you contact me, please take a moment to say hello, good morning, or hey how are ya. On occasion I get "suggest a correction" notices that are brief, abrupt, and unfriendly in tone and seem more like robot communication than actual human beings. It's a personal pet peeve and I don't react well to those sorts of messages. A little simple human courtesy goes a long way with me.|
I research my family history in southwestern and south central Pennsylvania for the most part, although I live in northeastern New Jersey. Counties of interest include Bedford, Blair, Franklin, Fulton, Somerset, Westmoreland, Cambria, Fayette, Washington, Indiana, and others.
PLEASE: If you request an interaction with me, whether to discuss a memorial or request a transfer, please do not be "Anonymous" and not provide any means to contact you. I recently had someone request a transfer but when I tried to contact the person, was told that the submitter was anonymous and there was no way to leave a public message for him or her. I'm not comfortable with this method of communicating. Thanks.
PLEASE: If you write to me via "Suggest a Correction" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE provide me with evidence in the form of some kind of documentation for any edits you'd like me to make. This is especially true if I don't already know who you are. It's not possible for me to simply accept what someone out of the blue tells me is valid without sources, documentation, proof or some other compelling argument. Sorry to sound like a grouch, but that's just the way my work goes.

You are very welcome for the photo. It was a beautiful cooler day to be out rambling in the cemetery. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know!
|Brian J. Ensley||RE: Benshoff|
No problem- glad to help!
|Brian J. Ensley||RE: Matilda|
No problem. If you are able and don't mind, see if you can cancel the request and then request it again now that the cemetery changed. Hopefully that will cancel out the red problem error that is showing that I can't get rid of, and will allow me to reclaim it.

I just wanted to let you know that you placed a photo of Andrew B. Pote's gravestone on his wife's memorial - 12170675.

You are very welcome. I am going to annotate the pictures of the family plot to show the location of each stone. We went back out to Shaul last night, and one of the things I did was verify who each stone was for. I will get this done and the family plot pictures replaced soon.

I saw you were unable to find a grave for August Koehler. There are some local Kolars who live in Plummer, do you know whether this is a relative? Charlotte Peebles

I think we maybe distant cousins. I am a descendant of Joshua Trimble thru his son Charles Morrow Trimble, a little simplified, several generations later. Anyway, I have been looking and looking for a grave side for Joshua Trimble and Jane Trimble, and his second wife Charlotte, no luck. But I found your Trimbles, and it seems they are in my family tree also. I was wondering if I could copy and use on my ancestry site the obit for John N Trimble, I would credit you with it. I don't like to take things without asking. It seems rude to take someone elses hard work. Thanks, Diane Griffith. Oh If your interested in my Trimble line, I have many of them on findagrave, and on ancestry.com

Hi, I would appreciate it if you would remove the obit from her memorial. I have added it to the bio.
Have a great 4th of July!
