Lives are commemorated, deaths are recorded, families are reunited, memories are made tangible and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life; not death, of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people,
a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering, always.

RE: hello
Hi Laurel: I was just browsing some old message when I was yours. Did you and your husband make to St. Joe and see the King Hill Cemetery?
We had a Robertson reunion this past July and of course, we made a pilgrimage to King Hill Cemetery.
One thing that I have also been doing since last summer is working on the history of the King Hill Cemetery with a fellow cemetery research from St. Joe.
Thus far we have traced back to the original property owner who was Peter Rhudy and after he died it remained in Robertson ownership off and on for many years.
It is still a work in progress....looking through old deeds and such. If you are interested or if you know of any of its history, please feel free to contact me. It is definitely a work in progress.....
On another note since you are related to John Harrington Robertson, you may also be interested to know that we FINALLY have been able to trace Mary Harrington Robertson's line because of some old letters that a "cousin" has and has transcribed for us. We were thrilled!
Take care.

Brazelton transfers
Thanks for the transfers. I have a long list of distant cousins that I am slowly working my way through. When I get done with that Iíll be adding the Bios. That will be an ongoing project which will probably take several years to complete in my spare time.

It would be interesting to know if you and I are some degree of cousins, or just cousins of cousins--is that the same as cousins-in-law?

Mary Fairall Brazelton was a second cousin of my great-grandfather, Joseph Wright, in his Clark family.

John Reynolds #32603887
Hi, Laurel -- I'm researching John Reynolds, trying to find out if he is the father of Darius Reynolds. I'm doing this research for a second cousin of my husband; Darius is his 3x Great Grandfather. Did you happen to do research on the children of John Reynolds? Thanks for any help you can give me.

RE: Thanks,
You are welcome, and thank you as well. I just finished photographing all 293 niches at St Marks, although there are about 20 that I will try again (brass plates are finicky). There were 9 memorials already made as unknown burials that I sent out move requests for, and you are the first to respond. :)

Hi Laurel:
I see that I didn't reply to you way back when. I'm sorry. Are you still researching the Robertson line?

Robert Braselton
RE: William Brazelton

I will transfer the memorial that I created and you can do as you wish to keep all of the information together on this Brazelton line. I believe this will be the best way to handle the situation and to keep from having duplicate memorials.
