Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Chicago and now live in Northwest Indiana. I travel across the state of Indiana for work, so I try and find cemeteries along the way. I have family in Fayette Co, Alabama. I started out by adding the names of family members, and now add as much as I can, hoping that it will help someone who is looking for their family.

My entries for Maury County, Tennessee are posted with the permission of Wayne Austin, and come from his site;

Aaron Reynolds
I believe there is an error in the family link for Aaron Reynolds, Find A Grave memorial 16526957. He was born on Nov. 1, 1753 and served with the VA regiment during the American Revolution. His father's name was William Reynolds, but it cannot be the William who is listed as his father. The William Reynolds, who is linked as Aaron's father, Find A Grave memorial 23381, was from Pennsylvania and was not born until 1815. He was a naval officer during the Civil War. In addition, he was the brother of MajGen. John Reynolds, who died at Gettysburg.

Infant Allen
Thank-you for posting the Infant Allen headstone. I think I can manage to enhance it in order to solve the mystery of parents. Much appreciated!

Placedo Neito memorial.
Hi Sabrina,

An observant Find-A-Grave contributor noticed that you and I have both created a memorial for Placedo Neito at Elmwood Cemetery. The difference being, your memorial is for Elmwood at Hammond, Indiana (Memorial# 25669254) and mine is Elmwood Cemetery at Sycamore, Illinois (Memorial# 145244005.)

I noticed a comment on his mother's memorial (Julia #99175035) that the family spelling of the name is 'Nieto,' but Placedo and Julia took the spelling of 'Neito.' The cemetery records at Sycamore show the spelling on the deed as "Nieto," but the headstones for Placedo and his wife (Emily, memorial# 145243725) both have the spelling as "Neito."

The only difference (other than cemetery) is the date of birth. Yours shows 1899 while the date on the headstone for mine is 1901.

I suspect that we are talking about the same person.

Cheers! Steve
