Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife and I love taking photos around St Clair & Sanilac Counties. We've found the graves of several of our own relatives while fulfilling photo requests, so it's a win-win situation.

Surnames we are researching include McCallum, Baker, Black, Cole, Keltner, & Ravin. If one of our memorials is a relative of yours, we would love to hear from you.

RE: George H Green
These are the dates I have for Thomas Green:
Born in 1808, died in 1849.
These dates come from family trees on
Ancestry.com, so I don't know if they're accurate.
How far are you from the Carsonville area? Would it be feasible for you to go back to Mt. Zion Cemetery? I read that if you sprinkle plain white flour on a headstone it makes it much easier to read, and I live two hours away.

RE: George H Green
No, I am referring to George Henry Green buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Yale. If you are not descended from the Thomas Green who is buried in Mt. Zion
Cemetery in Carsonville, MI, then you are no relation to M. McCallum. (Her maiden name was Lewis)
Thanks for posting the picture of Thomas Green's headstone. He was my 4th great-grandfather.

Hi. Don, are you related to M. McCallum, granddaughter of George H. Green?

Don and Wendy,

I happened to see you had a picture of my fathers grave marker. He was my dad and my mother passed away in the 1990s. How are you related to my dad Alvin? I know he had a brother who was killed in WWII and his name was Din McCallum. Was that your dad?

I don't have any pics, but Chester (Grandpa) was born in Detroit in 1900. Middle initial is A Alois. I can email you what I have if you're interested.
He is buried in Rhodes, MI along with Grandma.
