RE: James Riley Lanning
Hi. James Riley Lanning is my Great Great Grandfather. If you would like to have a copy of the photograph I could send you one by email or arrange to have a copy made for you if you prefer. The original picture is in the possession of my Uncle and I recently photographed it and touched it up a bit. We know that the photograph was taken sometime on or after April 26, 1907. We know this because the "Southern Cross of Honor" that he is wearing in the photograph was given to him by the Daughters of the Confederacy on April 26, 1907. I have obtained documentation from The UDOC confirming this as well.

I was named after my Great Grandmother Louise Hyatt. Angela Louise. I love finding out about our heritage. It's all very interesting to me.

Proctor
You did a marvelous job in creating the memorial for Leonard Allen Proctor, Jr. The photos are so absolutely awesome that I could cry.

This man is descended from my husband's great grandfather, Henry Lark, through his daughter, Harriet Lark. My husband's line is through Harriet's youngest brother, Alexander Edgar Lark. I have researched this family for years but am finding so much help on Find A Grave.

I want you to know that I am attaching some of the photos to my family tree, of course with your name as contributor. I really hope you don't mind.

I really would love to talk with you if you will contact me, please, especially if you are connected to the Proctor family. I would be so happy to share information and photos with you.

Blessings...
