I enjoy walking through cemeteries looking at the old tombstones. I have been working on my family tree for a couple of years now and am really enjoying it. I wrote a family cookbook to raise money for markers for graves in our family that remain unmarked. I believe everyone should be remembered and known even by strangers that just see a name and date on a marker.|
My family's are JARVIS,METCALF,CONANT,NORRIS,SINCLAIR,HAWK and HUDSON.
My familys are from Ohio but I live in South Carolina now so only get to visit the graves and family there once a year.
I will transfer ownership if requested for non family members.
I volunteer here and at RAOGK to take pictures of grave stones. While I am there I will take extra pictures to put on this site. I hope someone will find them of help. And remember it takes time and money to keep a Cememtery in great condition, please help where and when you can; I'm sure the Churches would appriciate you thoughtfulness. God Bless and Happy Hunting.

Pat, are you in touch with Jamie Riggle at all? She is on your friends list and I am trying to reach her about one of her memorials. It is my GGG Grandfather. The email she has registered at Find A Grave isn't working and I am desperate to contact her.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent an edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy
New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013
Go to your Contributor/Profile page. Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.
Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.
You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

Hello Pat, I just discovered, thanks to you, a couple family mrmbers - one I have a photo of and didn't know who she was until I saw you had put the graves on F A Grave.
Interesting also that John S. Martin was in same Civil War unit as his cousin, my gg grandfather.

Good day, I have found a birth record with Pvt. Peal Patton mother to be Mary Margaret Skiver married Ohio Hi Patton on 6 Nov 1864 - Hocking, Ohio. I also have other children by Mary Skiver and Ohio Patton but not the ones you have listed. I'm thinking Ohio Patton married someone else first. If you have any other info I sure would love to hear about them.

Hello! I am a direct relative to Alice Grimes. Her father was Thomas Winn and I descend from the Winn family. I would like to be able to fill in all information so that we can have her findagrave site updated. Please release her to me so that I can begin the updates. Thank you! Jackie

Pat, thank you so much for what you are doing for others through Find A Grave. It really means a lot to me and those like me who can no longer visit cemeteries due to age and health. I started my journey with genealogy back in the 80's and at that time I visited many cemeteries in both NC and SC. Now I am very limited. I hope you won't mind my making copies of your photos for my family files on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker. I am trying so hard to leave for my descendants and others as clear a picture as I can of their heritage. God bless you as you continue to help others in the way you do.
