My home is Fort Payne, AL. I grew up there, graduated high school in 1961 went off to college and the Air Force. Returned home after retiring from the Air Force in 1991 and the Postal Service in 2006.|
If there are photos needed in DeKalb County or near by, please do not fail to ask.
If anyone wants copies of the original photos, before being cropped, I'll be glad to provide them just give me an email address to send them too. The photos that I post can be used by family of the memorial as they want.
Also if you find any errors in my post, please let me know so that I can correct them.

FYI... I found Jack at New Cannon cemetery. He has a small flat stone at the back of the cemetery across the road from the church up toward the fence. We have family in that part of the cemetery and I happen to run up on it at decoration today. Thanks for what you do.

Thank you for taking the photo of their grave marker. I also appreciate your adding it to Mae's new Find A Grave entry. I assumed she was buried there but did not have a death certificate.
My great aunt and uncle (Kathleen and Campbell Thomas) lived in Rising Fawn. When I was a boy we lived on Signal Mountain. Every December we would drive down to their house and cut a Christmas tree on their property. Great memories!!
