RE: Collette & Collett & Cordua
Hi Jerry,

Louise Althea Collett (Collette) can be found in the 1920 and 1930 U.S. censuses living with her parents, Earl Russell Collett and Ruby E. Berkebile Collett in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. She is the middle child of five siblings and is named Althea L. in 1920 and Leona in 1930.

She is also found in the Ancestry record "U. S. Social Security Application & Claims Index" with her father named Earl R. Collett and mother named Ruby Collett.

Finally, she is found in the Ancestry record "Pennsylvania Veteran Compensation Application Files WWII". In this record she is referred to as Louise Collette AND Louise Collette Cordua. I do not know why the "E" has been added to the original name of Collett. Earl's parents were Russell W. Collett and Jennie L. Ward Collett.

If this info is not good enough for the parent link, I will understand and not pursue it any further, as she is a very, very distant relative of mine through my Ward Family. I just very much like the Findagrave family linking feature and I do the research before requesting the links.

Thanks for the obit, I have several of the same one. I'm part of the family. I thought her photo had been posted, as I sent out a request several years ago. Someone had posted a picture a couple of years before she died, and the family asked for it to be removed. I guess, they never responded to the re-submission for the photo.

Thank you Jerry for sending over the OBIT, it was very nice of you.

Because of privacy issues I dont post OBITs that may have living family members listed by name & location of residence.

But again, thanks for taking the time to look this up.
