Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing family research for about 16 years, and love it. Really like this site, it has helped me find family I knew about and family I did not. If there is someone I can help by taking photos I will gladly do it. I know how frustrating it can be to want and need the info and no one to help get it. If I have taken a picture of your loved one's grave site and you would like to use it elsewhere please feel free to do so. That is the reason I take them.

Nell Jackson Diehl
Greeting,
I noticed I have duplicated your entry of Nell. Your listing has her in the right cemetery... just wrong name ...

The cemetery is correct 'Ash Creek Cemetery'. Find A Grave also has it listed in Tarrant County. I am currently attempting to get all of that straighten out.

The real name of the cemetery is 'Ash Creek'

It seems in 1922 the Azle Cemetery Association was created. At some point a placed a sign on the outside of the cemetery gate reading "Azle Cemetery Assoc. The word 'Assoc' quickly became 'Ass' and then 'Ass or Assoc' was totally removed. Leaving 'Azle Cemetery' on the wall.

All along to the cemetery had been chartered with the state as Ash Creek Cemetery. The Ash Creek school and later Baptist Church were located on the a joining property.

OK.. I know that is way more than you wanted to know.

If you would kindly place Nell in Ash Creek Cem. I will gladly remove my memorial to her.

Thanks
David

Lila Mae Berry or Bromolow
I researching Marvin Andrew Wallis, I found a marriage record for him and Lila that lists her last name as Berry. The names Bromolow show up as witnesses. Can you shed some light on the discrepancy?

RE: Azle Cemetery
I figured it must be something like that! Thank you. In my venturing on the other side of town I found another little cemetery and added it to Google, so it turned out fine! :)

Azle Cemetery
Hello Cami,

I see that you took a photo of the entrance to Azle Cemetery. It's supposedly in Parker County, TX? I've tried to google it's location, but I can't find it. Can you help me out?

I just found out for sure that Houston McClure is buried in the King-Hall Cemetery and Amy Ogilvie is buried in the Swift Cemetery on Hwy 7 E. in Nacogdoches County. Amy has a headstone.

I have not found any records of burial but do know that they died in Melrose TX and that is a good indentation that they were buried in this cemetery along with other family members. We do know that there some Hall and Days buried there also. As the cemetery was call King-Hall Cemetery at one time. The only orginal headstone is for a child name Day. The new headstone is for Davis King, there are some large bolder stack under a tree that were used as markers. I have a friend whose 4th gparents was Houston Mclure and Amy Anna Oglivie.

Some of the families have spoke about go out and working on the this cemetery and putting a fence around it and trying to locate some of the graves, but it has not happen yet.
