Thanks for submitting the fix for this memorial.

I finally spent some time looking at it and determining why I messed it up so bad.

I just wanted to let you know that I looked up her other husbands and linked them as well and put marriage (or marriage license) dates in the bio. And I added links for her parents.

You had already done the complicated part. I was so sure that Major was her maiden name, I simply did not find anything when I searched before.

If you want to take a look and see if you think these changes are okay (or if you want other changes), here is a link so you you don't have to search:

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestions.
Do you have a source, so I can cite it and credit you on the memorial?

Thanks!

RE: John C. Stanley
Hi Katheryn

Thanks for writing. The only thing I have is census info on the family when John was alive.

I am glad you wrote as I had forgot to write John's bio. I've written over 400 of them but there are a couple I have not finished...John's I never started! So I will get on that in the next day or two.

Sorry I could not help!

Cordially

Hi Kathryn,

I noticed that you have James "Jimmy" Jones, Jr., gravesite. Do you happen to have an obituary for him or his mother or father?

James' Dad, James Sr., would have been my 3x Great Grandpa's, Thomas, brother. I am trying to find James Sr's & Thomas's graves. James supposedly died in Wayne County, Illinois, when someone rode up to his house on horseback and shot him. His bride, who was pregnant with "Jimmy", came out on the porch and he died in her arms.

Thomas Jones' wife, Zilpha, is buried in the Chatham, Sangamon County, Illinois, area..... but I can't find where Thomas is buried either.

If you have ANY family information.... I would be grateful if you could share it with me. My email address is LSJRJT@YAHOO.COM.

Thank you very much!!

Boyd McNeil
A 4th child of John and Margaret Waymire
Hi Kathryn,

John and Margaret Waymire were the parents of Hamilton Waymire. Hamilton is shown in their home in both the 1850 and 1860 census. He was born about 1841 in Ohio and died in the service of his county in the Civil War in 1862. I don't find a find-a-grave memorial for Hamilton.

As you can see from the following records transcriptions he was one of the early volunteers, enlisting in Aug. 1861 in the 1st Regiment.
