Most of the time, I am a school teacher, and do little that doesn't involve teaching. However during the summertime, I spend time with family, past and present. I am relatively new to genealogy and am working on identifying, organizing, archiving and digitizing my grandparents mixed trunk of family photos, newspaper clippings, and artifacts. I am new to FindAGrave, but think it is WONDERFUL. I can't wait to get a notebook and my camera out to a local cemetery to join the cause.|
If you believe you are related to me, please take a moment to send me an e-mail. I would love to hear from you and see how you are doing.

|Cindy Colvin Schaffer||Hello|
I took Bell Wall's grave pic. There was another one next to it that I took. The name is Parmelia A. Wall May 16, 1839-Apr 24 1911. If you need it just let me know. Thanks~Cindy
Am adding several Deibert family members tonight that I found when I searched for Henry this evening. Let me know if you want me to transfer any of them to you. They are all buried in Salem Cemetary in Marion, OH
|Kathleen||RE: George & Myrtle Orr|
I have added photos of the markers for Myrtle and George Orr (Mt.Ida cemetery) to their memorial pages.
I wanted to let you know that Myrtle and George are buried right next to a JT Orr (b.12-9-1918, d.10-25-193) and a military marker for a Alvin Ottis Orr (b.2-28-1912,d.3-19-1980). I will gladly send you the photos of JT's and Alvin's if you would like to have them. Just let me know.

This is Beverly's daughter Christine and yes, you may use the photo. Thanks for asking and God Bless your day!
Find A Grave #12253317; some of the kids are linked to him.
...spelled "Hover" in the 1870 census in Iowa; wife is MARY; HE must be the right Christian Hoover! In Gentry County, Missouri in 1880. Kids were Sarah, James, Jacob, Eudora, Edwin.
In 1860, Christian was already a widower in Clinton, Iowa with kids Mary, Diantha, William, Sarahett, and James.
In 1850, Christian is in Macon, Illinois next to (probably) brother Jacob, and William is an infant. This wife seems to also be named Mary...Mary Andrews.
In 1880 census, says daughter Sarah was born in Illinois in 1856.
|CryptoGram||RE: Floyd Christian Hoover|
I did see another Christian Hoover (in Madison, Missouri in 1870 with wife Sarah) also born in Germany while searching for Floyd's father...also in Missouri and the same age. I at first thought he was a bigamist or such until I found the right Christian Hoover listed under "Cris" Hoover in 1870. There does not seem to be time for Christian Hoover to have left his family between 1900 census and dying in 1902 ~ perhaps he has gotten a bum rap? Or elsewise, perhaps he WAS a bigamist!
Esther Hoover J W Northcraft 31 May 1906 Vernon County
John Wesley Northcraft (FindAGrave memorial #15463137), born 1835; first wife Liddie (Lydia), still living in 1900 census in Vernon County, MO. Christian and Esther are still married at this time (Esther's name listed as Emma in Nevada, Missouri). I do not find Christian Hoover in any more censuses after 1900. Did he die?
In 1860 census, Christian Hoover right age is in Osceola, Missouri (also land records for him in same), but claims to have been born in Ohio...has wife Margaret and children John L., Lydia, Elzabeth, Barbara, & Margaret.
In 1870, "Cris" Hoover is still in same with same wife and kids Barbara, Ann, Nancy, & Sarah.
There are some Missouri marriage records on ancestry.com for Hoovers with these first names in Vernon County. There were also Jobes in Vernon County, MO, but I do not see anyone who fits the initials "J.E." as in that newspaper item of 1976 in Las Vegas, NM.
...it's making your profile really wide so delete it after you find the connections I included.
You have requested a photo of her stone at Englewood Cemtery in Clinton, Henry, MO. this is a big cemetery over 13,000 burials, if you could call and find a Block, Lot and grave # that would help so much. thank you in advance.
