I welcome information or a correction to a memorial. I do not double-check the auto edits, as I don't have time, plus, I think you would have.|
I like to link families (and also women's maiden names) as that has sometimes been the only way I found a daughter, wife, or mother.
If you find an error, please notify me; AND, please use the white Edit tab at right top of the memorial, even if you have a question about a memorial, the suggestion email will take me to it. I will know exactly who and what you are writing about without entering names, and memorial numbers to look it up. Also use it to request a 'transfer.'
I will transfer a memorial if you are a relative, and I'm not related, but I'd expect you to transfer if someone else asks you and they are closer kin.
I honor veterans (all wars) with a flag, or floral tribute, especially if they don't have one.
With the "new edit" method, I don't always write a 'thank-you' nor do I expect one. We all have plenty to do to keep up. BUT, be assured that I do APPRECIATE any addition/correction, or PHOTO REQUEST you fulfill for me. Please accept this as my thanks for your efforts.

Thank you for bringing these duplicates to my attention. The memorial created by Peter Drysdale - # 81058513 was posted in 2011. Mine are later than that, so I have deleted my entries #87042055 and 87042066. There should be only one Nathaniel L. Very posted.
Again, thank you. I am not related.

Oh, I'm STILL working on them. Like a dog with a bone. lol.
I found that both Edmond and his mother died in California. I don't know that they would be brought back to Kansas for burial, but there was nothing for either of them in California. She went to California after her husband died and was there with Edmond until she died. I'm not surprised because she went there with her younger son as well when he was attending some classes there. Her huaband died while she was away. She was very close to her sons. I know she would want to be buried next to them, not in California.
Edmond served in WWI and signed up for WWII, giving different birth dates for each. His 1st and only marriage was in 1943 when he was 53. It ended in divorce. I'm trying to find that wife now and think I have.
I never found an article telling what that younger son died from. But they did put into the newspaper a thank you for all the flowers, etc. that were sent, so I know about when he died.
That last name Very is VERY hard to find. If you request that name, every very in every article comes up. Their name might as well have been and or the. lol.
I wish death certificates in Kansas were free and online, like Missouri's are. But, alas, they aren't.

Mary An Pruitt was indeed Wm Monroe Yandell's first wife, but Mary Ann Butler was his third.
There's a forum post from Martha Frances Yandell's granddaughter naming Butler as Martha's mother. Martha Frances Yandell was the sister of Cary Allen Yandell and William C "Bud" Yandell.
Unfortunately, that time period lacks death records or any others that could really clear up whose who and buried where in all this. I'll keep looking for more information.

You left a message that my 2nd GG was listed in the 24th General Conf of FWB ministers. Where could I find this. Also, does it list all FWB ministers deaths, possibly in the year of 1871, Hudson, Maine? Worth a shot. TKU.
