Bio

I am from a large farm family. I had five brothers and five sisters. I went to a one room country school for my first year and after that commuted to a nearby town to school there. I am married, have three grown children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

My interest in genealogy perhaps began when my mother's uncle sent her a letter inquiring about our part of the family. In a small way, I had a hand in filling out that questionnaire. I, later on, obtained the book that this uncle had given to my mother with the compiled information in it. Years later, I was able to obtain records that my father's sister had kept with all the information she had put together of our family history on Father's side. You could say that I inherited two nice sets of information. I have done my best to continue on with the start these two gave me, trying to keep information up to date. I realize this will never be finished! However, the computer makes the work so much easier than my uncle and aunt had it.

My youngest daughter has also developed an interest in family history and was the one to introduce me to findagrave. I am glad to have been able to pass this interest on to her generation.

Please email me with any updates, corrections, or removals on any of the information that I have posted.
