FAG new search tip Sep 30 2021
plot search if added to memorial will bring you to plot area & who's buried there. This helps in location with nearby names. Only helpful if plot location is available.

Tip:How to add GPS (lat/lon): to memorials "without" a GPS device or GPS photo capabilities

*****Updated Jul 6, 2018********
Previously I showed the steps to how to post locations lat/long with out expensive smart phone or GPS capabilities.
With the new version, FAG has graciously provided a tab "PIN ON MAPS" in your memorial edits, that goes directly to the map in plan form. Zoom in closer to the cemetery icon & it changes to satellite/aerial photo view. If you can find the exact or nearly exact location, click it & the icon appears. Along with new latitude & longitude coordinates, "Save" it & continue on with your edits. Now it is so much easier to locate memorials when information is just not available(office closed or even available).
It sure is easier than the old version opening maps, finding lat/long, copy/paste into memorials. Thank you FAG, it truly is a new version.
