I have no further information for these memorials other than what appears on the stones (some of which are unreadable in some areas), nor are any of these part of my family. I would be happy to transfer these memorials to family members.

I don't mind at all!
After working the Camellia Cemetery for almost a year, I was given access to the lists for the Sacramento County burials. These lists are for unclaimed remains. They are individually identified and marked, placed in a casket, and given a proper burial. The remains are able to be retrieved by family, if desired. The only information I have is what is on the list and what I can gather thru the California Death index and SSDI.
My goal was, and continues to be, to help families find their loved ones.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. I will do my best to answer them.
Dear Pup Dawg
I'm from Portugal and I'm a cousin of Amelia Machado Alves.
I'm trying to find more about her and my relatives there.
She was a daughter of my grandmother's brother.
Do you know her sons or any relatives.
Your help is much appreciated

Hi there, William Davis does not have a gravestone, but I am more than happy to take a photo of the area where he is buried for you. The cemetery he is in is beautiful :)

If you requested the photo, the photo is for you, not me. I do not need credit. Too many folks fight over credit, which I find just stupid. Please use it as you see fit.

I think that you can make a notation about her being the wife, etc and mentioning the birth date discrepancy is about all that can be done.
In any case since she is in the findagrave I will delete the entry I made. No sense having two.
This is the same woman. The birth date is off on the headstone and she married the Henry noted on the headstone.
Should I just delete my record and you can make a note on your entry?
These ppl are my wife's great grandfather, great uncles and cousins.

I always take photos of Civil War soldier's graves
when I spot them. I took a picture of George E. Morris today at Greenlawn in Salem, MA and when I got home, I checked and saw that you had already taken a picture. I usually add mine so I can put it in my virtual cemetery. I verify their service through the National Parks database. When I looked for George, I saw that he was in the 54th Colored Infantry. The stone says 2 MASS CLD INF. I checked further and found the gravestone request form and noticed that there was a "2" near the box specifying which unit the soldier served in. So the stone was ordered incorrectly. I just found this interesting and wanted to share with you. I have never seen an error before.
