Irene R. Noonan Johnson
Unfortunately, I am going to have to delete my memorial for Irene (# 72081432), the one you sent me edits for, because I have her in an incorrect cemetery. I added her to Meadowbrook Cemetery in Gilman based on her obit, however, she is actually buried in Saints Peter and Paul Parish Cemetery in Gilman with her husband, Axel. Another Contributor added her (see #166575870), even though after mine was added, to the correct cemetery. According to Find A Grave, the memorial in the correct cemetery takes precedent over the one in the incorrect cemetery.

I didn't realize there were two memorials until you sent me edits. Please delete the edits you sent me and resend to the other Contributor. Sorry about that.

Kathy

Peabody Ancestry
Dear Rene:
I am also a direct descendant of Isaac. He is my 8x Great Grandfather twice. Once through his son Joseph and once through his daughter Hepsibah. I would like to invite you to join our Face Book page titled Peabody Ancestry which is everything Peabody. I have some great pictures, including the current site of where Francis Peabody's Grist mill once stood. Other members shared photos of the Peabodys who moved out west. Feel free to contact me at missmarymusic@comcast.net, or on facebook under my name Mary Louise Bingham.

Sincerely,
Mary Bingham

Boyd CO. KY.
Wikipedia says: Boyd CO. KY. was formed in 1860 from parts of Greenup, Carter and Lawrence Counties. Named after Linn Boyd, former U. S. Congressman. So... I guess you need to find the nearest town to where she was born.

Evelyn Raison Hartzell
The place of birth as Boyd County, Kentucky must be wrong for Evelyn R. Eva Raison Hartzell 1850 - 1934, memorial 101739065. Because Boyd County was not formed until 1860.

RE: George Washington Phelps
Hi, I saw the Draft notice reference.. but nothing yet on whether he actualkly was "called up" so to speak... to serve in a military unit. He was an experienced engineer, builder, and contractor... also a Railroad Superintendent at the time.. If he served I imagine that it might have been in an engineering capacity or in Logistics/transportation... but haven't been able to pinpoint exactl;y what as yet. If I find more I will alert you.. can you do the same if you come across more definitive info? thanks..
Regards, Joe Carvalho III, Springfield

George Washington Phelps
HI, I am doing research on men who serve in the Civil War who are buried in Springfield Cemetery (Mass.).. there is a note from you with a gif flag and a note saying Civil War under it for the entry for George Washington Phelps. Do you know what unit he served in.. I can't seem to find it and it wasn't mentioned in his obit (but that's probably because he had achieved so much in Railroading after teh war that they may simply decided not to give his obit more space?-- Regards, Joe Carvalho III, Vice-Pres., Board of Proprietors of the Springfield Cemetery(Mass.)

DNA test
Where did you get your DNA test done? I have mine on Ancestry. I have uploaded it to www.gedmatch.com and www.familytreedna.com too. Do you have yours there?
