RE: Legenza
I hope you are successful in finding some good info for your wife. I have a couple cousin's who have traced our Whiteing family tree back to 1040. My ancestor came over to England with William the Conqueror in 1066 from Normandy. My great-grandfather came to American from England. I am half German, a quarter Scotch, and a quarter Irish. Have done some work on my maternal family tree but I am just not that good at it! lol

I believe it is safe to say that Hedwig is John Sr.'s wife; her dates are 1898 - 1962. The stones are together and one says "Father" and the other "Mother". Perhaps Eugene is John Leo's son? John Leo born in 1915 and Eugene 1939. The infant, Richard, Jr. was born in 1963 but seeing no Richard Sr. I cannot say who's son he was. Christine's stone shows "Loving Daughter" her dates are 7/3/1967 to 7/31/1991. I can forward all the photo images to you if you would like them.

Good luck and have fun with your search!

RE: Legenza
Hope you got my last message. There is a military marker for Eugene A. Legenza, Nebraska PFC US Army, born March 7, 1939, died December 21, 1973.

Just let me know if you need anything else.

Both stone pictures are there, the family marker and the stone for John Leo. Because there are other photos, you need to click on "Click here to view all images" that can be found under the photos, then you will be able to see the gravestone for John Leo; it is a military marker. Sorry for the confusion. They are in the same plot. There are others also; Hedwig, Richard (infant), Eugene, and Christine. If you are unable to view the stone for John Leo just let me know and I can change the images around. Just let me know! :o)
