Bio and Links
Bio Photo Almost lifelong resident of the Santa Clara Valley, and glad to assist those seeking grave sites in the SF Bay Area. I'm fortunate to have had the help of so many kind people across the country who have provided photos and information on the grave sites of my ancestors, and happy to do my part in return.

Please feel free to use any of the headstone or cemetery photos I have added, there's nothing proprietary about them and the goal should be to freely share our heritage to make the historical record as complete as possible for posterity.

Should any of the memorials under my care be for members of your family, just let me know and I will gladly transfer - always glad to see these memorials maintained by family, however distant in relationship. Similarly, I welcome updates to make these records more thorough. In either case, please use the "Edit" tab on the affected memorial, and then the "suggest a correction" link to send me your request or update.

Good luck in your own research and thanks in advance for your contributions to our collective, volunteer effort!

Betty Stanfill Sinsley
Thank you for sharing your picture of the headstone for Betty Sinsley. She was a wonderful person. Her uncle G.W. Stanfill was my grandfather. We thank you for your kindness and generosity.

RE: Your Data Is Incorrect
Oh, and as for the second edit, I would still request that you remove the links to Frank and Mary Dresden as her parents, because they were not her shall we resolve this?

RE: Your Data Is Incorrect
I resubmitted the edit, took off the "Mrs" because she was not Mrs Blair, only Mrs. Gennings, when she was married. I also put Blair in the maiden name and took Blair off the last name. Otherwise it would look like: Mrs. Virginia June Blair Blair, which is incorrect, as well. I imagine she elected to be married under her maiden name because she was divorced and to my knowledge, had no children. But since she was divorced, she was also no longer a "Mrs" and again, when she was married, she was Mrs. Gennings. I do hope we can get this resolved!

RE: Your Data Is Incorrect
Her maiden name was Blair. She married Robert Andrew Gennings in 1953 and they were divorced in 1971. She then reverted back to her maiden name. You have her maiden name as Dresden. That is incorrect. If I submit an edit for the maiden name, you will have her memorial as Virginia June Blair Blair...which will not only look funny but also be incorrect.

So what would you have me do? I will go ahead and resubmit the edit for the maiden name, but then please don't put it up twice!

Thank you,

Your Data Is Incorrect
Your data is incorrect. I know for a fact that Virginia was the daughter of my Uncle John W Blair and Cecil S Dresden. They are living with Cecil's parents in the 1920 U.S. Census in Richland, WI. And both Virginia June Blair and her sister Lady Gladness Blair are mentioned in my Uncle John's obituary, which was published in the Rockford Morning Star on 14 Feb 1932. He died in the blimp Columbia crash on 13 Feb 1932 in Flushing, Queens, New York City.

My Uncle John was first married to Cecil Dresden and then in 1926 married Betty Franks. I have documentation. This is my family and I would like to have the record be correct. Virginia was my COUSIN. I don't know what your records say, but they are incorrect. And I have the data to prove it.

Please contact me.

Thank you.
