Bio and Links
Bio Photo ******************************************

I will be happy to add information and links to memorials that I manage.

Please use the EDIT tab on each memorial. I can usually get updates done within a day or two.

If your updates are taking longer to appear, then we are probably traveling and I will be getting to additions/corrections just as soon as I have internet access.

If we are on a trip, we could be out of touch from the internet for as much as 2 weeks at a time.

A transfer request must include your relationship to the individual, and a little extra identifying information. This is just to help prevent any potential mix-ups.

Please feel free to use my photos in your on-line family tree. It would be much appreciated if you would give credit to Find A Grave as your source for the photo.

Thanks ahead of time for your help and contributions. They are much appreciated!

His tombstone indicates he was 66 when he died in 1884. That would make him born in 1818, not in 1815. thank you,

Thank you for letting me know! When I saw that there was a grave for him I assumed it was him since I know he did pass in Sonoma. Thank you for the update! I will keep looking for him. Thank you for taking the time to write me, I greatly appreciate! I strive to make sure what I submit is correct so I truly do appreciate it!
Have a great day,

RE: Thanks!
Cashie, I'm taking the info from the death certificates. Every once in awhile I pick a small cemetery and try to fill in info. I just think it is so sad when nothing is there to remember these people and hope maybe it will help relatives find their loved ones.

I am sorry to say that I have no other information than what is in the obit. I am not related to Mr. Moss, just a Find A Grave volunteer.

I have found that there are duplicate markers sometimes, if the family has a plot in a cemetery. I believe this to be the case, as his parents, two sisters and brother are buried in Cambria.

Also, Saffron Wings took the picture of the headstone in Greenlawn Southwest in May of 2010, which is a duplicate stone from the one in Cambria.

I am sorry I could not be of better help.

RE: Lydia Yarnell Slack
Thanks for the two sites with Slack information. It added to what I know.
I did find where the bio came from. It is in A History of Uniontown - The County Seat of Fayette County Pennsylvania. It was written by James Hadden. The book also had information on the McCleans.
Thanks for your help. It is amazing how one small bio could lead me on to a book that was new to me.

RE: Lydia Yarnell Slack
Lydia Yarnall Slack is buried in the Historic Presbyterian Public Cemetery in Uniontown Fayette County PA.
It looks like Jennifer F Shank added the original record May 8, 2008. Memorial # 26698377. You added information about Lydia and family. I can't figure out if the info came from a book or was transcribed from her head stone.

I am researching my McClean family and ran across your posting information on Lydia and her family, especially her daughter Tamzon and her husband Ephraim McClean. This is wonderful information and I would like to include it in my tree. Could you tell me where you found the information. I would love to add a source to the information.
