You're welcome -- sorry I did not find it yet.
I will likely go back and try again as the cemetery is close to my home. I will try at a different time of day for better lighting and perhaps bring along a mirror or some Aluminum Foil as I have read that it can be used to determine the engravings safely. Here is an article about it:
Thanks for the transfer, but I don't understand why. She isn't kin to me.

Helen appears on the 1900 census with her parents - James Eugene Morris and Martha Frances (FOrgeson) Morris. This is also indicated on the tombstone.
I believe that you may have listed her grandparents on the memorial instead of her parents.
Many of her family is buried in the various cemeteries in Seymour.

You are welcome!

Debra, you are so welcome! I could not understand how we were unable to find so many gravestones in the Ancient Burying Ground, so we went to check with the Wethersfield Historical Society. I had no idea that the Puritans and even those who became Congregationalists had credos that prevented them from putting markers on graves up until about 1680 or so. I just thought all of the old stones had crumbled, so this is a more comforting answer. And, mystery solved!
All the best,
You're welcome. We're glad we could help.

Thank you for your time in setting-up this record for my aunt. I would be willing to assume responsibility for her memorial. I would like to line her to her parents, my great-grandparents, 76110512 and 76110892.
Thanks Again, Bob Weis
