Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi,

I have been doing genealogy for 35 years now. I started doing cemeteries about 15 years ago. Surnames: Bolon, Mead, Short, Strobel, Clausen, Bounds, Woodman, Fontaine, Bissonnet, Drouillard, Robert, Valiquet, Terrien, DuPuis and Berg.

Husbands Lines: Portmann from Switzerland, Mitchell, Carbaugh, Longstreth and Winebrenner from Pennsylvania.

Please include your relationship to the memorial and member number for transfers. If they are not my family I will seriously consider transferring to a family member.

I filmed all of Mountain View Cemetery in Connell WA., May 2011.

Pleasant View Cemetery, Mondovi, WA has also been filmed, May 2011. Filmed additional monuments added in May of 2013 and May of 2014.

Saint Antoine Cemetery Monroe county Michigan. I am currently working on updating this cemetery. I used Denissen's and Souls of St. Antoine Cemetery for my research on this cemetery. Please seek your own documentation for cemeteries. Find A Grave is a starting place. Records can be wrong, but they do help us find a starting place. Happy to share records for this cemetery. March 2013.

Please verify what you take as we all make mistakes even thou we try to be accurate.

Joseph Fontaine
Hello Anita M. (Fontaine) Keller
I think I put Waistell instead of Peter. I will fix when accepted. So this is what I meant Joseph Peter Fontaine B Jul 25 1885 D Oct 21 1985 Patents Antoine "Anthony" Fontaine & Mary Elizabeth Valiquete. Found Middle name. Source: U.S., World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918, U.S., World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942.
I looked again at Joseph Waistell Fontaine its says London.

RE: Knapp Family
Abraham Lincoln "Link" Knapp was my great grandfather's brother. My great grandfather was George H Knapp. Link and George H had business connections in Colville in the same era and I have some. The line goes back like this:

Link and Geo H Knapp
William Jasper Knapp
Henry L Knapp
Benjamin Knapp
Lucius "Luke" Knapp
Capt John Knapp Sr
Caleb Knapp
Nicholas Knapp (came from England in 1630)

I am having a little trouble with my documentation of Benjamin Knapp for the purposes of DAR.

RE: J. B. Remillard
Thank you! I put in an English pronunciation of her French name and found her in a newspaper. That led me to her actual death certificate. I appreciate your help.

RE: John B. Remillard
I don't know if they went to Kansas, but I'm guessing they didn't because their children were born in Kankakee. He shows up in the 1910 census with two of his daughters and his sister, but no wife. The census shows that he is married, so don't know where his wife was at that time. His wife is the one person I'm searching for. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for your query. I didn't research his ancestry but his father on the 1870 census is from NY state. Perhaps he does link to CT family.

John Baptiste Remillard
Hi, John Baptiste Remillard (#146421205) was my great-grandfather and you show him as part of your family. I am trying to find out what happened to his first wife, Hermine LeClaire, my great-grandmother. She doesn't appear anywhere after her last child is born about 1900. Thanks for any info you can give. RE: Francois Revau Lajuenesse 1795-1972
All I know is he died in Newport, Monroe County, Michigan. I think he was buried on his Farm, we dont know where his Wife was buried either. I tried doing a Find A Grave memorial for him before but got a message asking me why I was making a Memorial for someone who doesnt exist so I deleted it.
