no, he isn't my relative. I was just trying to add a few more photos to New Cruso, but there are a number of them with just a funeral home marker after being there years. Sad.

While trying to photograph some of the grave markers missing from memorials at New Cruso Cemetery, I came across this person's marker almost covered by grass. So, I cleaned it up and since he was not listed in the New Cruso Cemetery on Findagrave, I added him. Later on while trying to fill in dates and stuff via Ancestry, etc, I saw your memorial that said 'Ashes scattered, location.' So, if you are sure this is just a cenotaph, just let me know and I will delete my memorial.

I believe this person was a victim of the Winecoff Hotel fire in Atlanta, Georgia on December 7, 1946. Here is a brief bio of him in The Winecoff Fire by Sam Heys and Allen Goodwin: Cleve Sisk, 48, Asheville, N.C. Stayed in room 928. Was a bus driver for Smoky Mountain Trailways for 26 years.
