I have been doing genealogy for 35 years now. I started doing cemeteries about 15 years ago. Surnames: Bolon, Mead, Short, Strobel, Clausen, Bounds, Woodman, Fontaine, Bissonnet, Drouillard, Robert, Valiquet, Terrien, DuPuis and Berg.
Husbands Lines: Portmann from Switzerland, Mitchell, Carbaugh, Longstreth and Winebrenner from Pennsylvania.
Please include your relationship to the memorial and member number for transfers. If they are not my family I will seriously consider transferring to a family member.
I filmed all of Mountain View Cemetery in Connell WA., May 2011.
Pleasant View Cemetery, Mondovi, WA has also been filmed, May 2011. Filmed additional monuments added in May of 2013 and May of 2014.
Saint Antoine Cemetery Monroe county Michigan. I am currently working on updating this cemetery. I used Denissen's and Souls of St. Antoine Cemetery for my research on this cemetery. Please seek your own documentation for cemeteries. Find A Grave is a starting place. Records can be wrong, but they do help us find a starting place. Happy to share records for this cemetery. March 2013.
Please verify what you take as we all make mistakes even thou we try to be accurate.

Thank you for linking Annie to her parents which also connected her to both of her brothers. She is only distantly related to me through marriage and I really appreciate all that you have added.

You left a note saying she was your cousin. You also left a note for my dad, Paul Howes. I am curious on how we are related.
Hello Anita M. (Fontaine) Keller
I think I put Waistell instead of Peter. I will fix when accepted. So this is what I meant Joseph Peter Fontaine B Jul 25 1885 D Oct 21 1985 Patents Antoine "Anthony" Fontaine & Mary Elizabeth Valiquete. Found Middle name. Source: U.S., World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918, U.S., World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942.
I looked again at Joseph Waistell Fontaine its says London.

Abraham Lincoln "Link" Knapp was my great grandfather's brother. My great grandfather was George H Knapp. Link and George H had business connections in Colville in the same era and I have some. The line goes back like this:
Link and Geo H Knapp
William Jasper Knapp
Henry L Knapp
Lucius "Luke" Knapp
Capt John Knapp Sr
Nicholas Knapp (came from England in 1630)
I am having a little trouble with my documentation of Benjamin Knapp for the purposes of DAR.

Thank you! I put in an English pronunciation of her French name and found her in a newspaper. That led me to her actual death certificate. I appreciate your help.

I don't know if they went to Kansas, but I'm guessing they didn't because their children were born in Kankakee. He shows up in the 1910 census with two of his daughters and his sister, but no wife. The census shows that he is married, so don't know where his wife was at that time. His wife is the one person I'm searching for. Thanks for the info.
|CJBiller||Abraham L Knapp|
Thanks for your query. I didn't research his ancestry but his father on the 1870 census is from NY state. Perhaps he does link to CT family.
