|Bio and Links|
My Name is Ronald A. Sykes, Sr, and have been working on my family History for over 40 years. |
Any additional information, adding bio's, changing .or adding names, dates and location can be done, without asking me, by hitting the edit button.
With the new system of FaG, I OK the links, and changes, without question. However, this also means, I may or may not have linked or corrected memorials.
I am more than happy to any correct a problem, or link family members. As far as Transfer goes, please look at the rules set down by Find a Grave, before asking. I will take a look on a case to case basis, but normally follow those rules. Demands from, or rude people are always ignored. If you would like credit for something added, either put it in the bio section, or let me know and I will add it for you.
I normally make all requests within 24 hours. If not, don't worry, I will get to it. Sometimes, I take a day off, too.
AGAIN. I follow the rules of Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case to case bases. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request.
You My permission to use any of my Headstone photo, for your personal use.

Would you happen to know if this T.J. Woodard was first married to Francis Carmel Barnard?
|carolyn rogers||Lawrence Lee Collier|
Would appreciate transference to me if you so choose. He was my mother's brother. Is he kin to you also??
|Jacque Gray||Ruby Cox Kastrop|
No problem. I believe everything is accurate now. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
|Jacque Gray||Ruby Kastrop|
You have requested I make changes to her memorial to add Jackie Joe Cox as her 2nd husband. However, shouldn't he be showing as her 1st husband & Robert Kastrop as her 2nd? Also, since her stone shows both married names, shouldn't it be recorded on her memorial as Ruby Welch Cox-Kastrop?

Hello Mountain Man, A huge THANK YOU for what you do for Find a grave!
You posted a Memorial, #62768700, Grace Hayes Austin, wife of Charles, which was huge help to find her. Grace may be first wife of my great Grandfather, Charles, yet we need more information. Charles third marriage was to Lucy D. Irwin, my great grandmother. Grace's husbands middle name or initials would be helpful, and I am looking into that. Undertaker "Smith & Co." are out of business with Hennessy funeral service holding Smith and company records.
On FaGrave my user name is pacificforrestflower, #48317726. If you'd like to drop a line, my email is firstname.lastname@example.org, and email@example.com.
Again, Thank you. Christina Kirsten Have a great day!

Thank you for your help correcting Carrie Louise Teats Lartigue's entry. I never expected to maintain her entry. Thank you for your efforts on findagrave. I will work to find an Obituary.

You submitted correction for the subject person. I cannot find any support to you correction. I do see a Myrtle Henson in the 1920 census but I cannot find her anywhere else. Could please provide me support to your submission? Thanks Jo Nelson

Carrie Louise Teats Lartigue. I believe there is an error with her parents.
Henry Teats and Betsy Shook Their Ancestors And Their Descendents by Carrie L Lartigue, near page 105 identifies her father as George Henry "Henry" Teats Sept 13, 1875 -April 20, 1953, buried in Idaho.
There are 2 wives involved but I believe Carrie was a child with Anna Kole.
Carries 1st marriage was to Alfred A Fannan
With one child, Jack L Fannan b 1934
Since Carrie published so many books on family histories I hate to see her link to her family misrepresented. I hope this helps provide clarity.
|Harry E. McLellan||Willis (Bill) Holmes|
My name is Harry McLellan. Are you related to Bill? The reason I ask is because Bill and my father-in-law Duane E. Wilson were friends and may have had some family relationship. While going through my wife's grandmother's (Mabel Nickerson, Wilson, Delbridge, Steveson) things we came across a package of photographs relating to both the Holmes and Delbridge families. (Mable was married to Harry Delbridge.) There is a notation on the envelope that the package should be given to Bill Holmes. Searching Ancestry.com, I find that Bill died in 1986 and evidently, according to the 1940 census, left no children. We would like to ensure these photographs are delivered to the correct person(s). Can you help?
