I am very proud of my Southern Heritage, having always lived most of my life here in the Pee Dee Region of my beloved South Carolina. I only left my home state of South Carolina, to serve my country in the United States Army. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful wife, Elizabeth Ann Eaddy DuRant, and two loving daughters, Joanna Elizabeth, and Holly Michelle.

One of my hobbies is studying the rich history of our state of South Carolina and the ancestry of family and friends.
