If you have a problem with any of my memorials please contact me. I invite you to place a flower and a few kind words. You are welcomed to use any photographs of the headstones I have personally place on the memorials. Why, in the world, would I go to the trouble to do this if it is not to be shared?|
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ADDING PHOTOGRAPHS FROM FUNERAL HOMES!
Many memorials, I have created, have been from actually going to the cemeteries and photographing them. If you stumble upon a memorial that appears to be a duplicate, it may be because the first memorial was created without being placed in the correct cemetery. Per FAG guidelines, the contributor has 30 days to finish the job! Otherwise, the memorial will not be considered the original.
Please contributors, this is "Findagrave", not "Findamemorial"!
FAG is a tool for ancestry research, not an ancestry site!

|Bob Collins||RE: Lodema Jenkins|
From everything I have, March is the correct month. That's why I was shocked when I saw April on the tombstone.
For now, let's leave it as March. I have made contact with one of the children to see if they have any idea on the reason. I thought I had Jay (John) Collins's email address. I can't put my finger on it yet, but I am going to do a heavy duty search. I do have his cellphone #.
Since Jay is my 1st cousin as Lodema was his mother, I think he would know for sure.
I will make myself a note to let you know what I find.

Thanks for getting back so fast.
It doesn't matter on who takes care of this site. I can add some additional info if you'd like to pass it along to me.
That tombstone date error had me scratching my head. They can supposedly correct errors like that. But, I've seen some of the attempts. They weren't too good.
Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
|Bob Collins||Lodema Jenkins|
Lodema was my aunt. Her first husband was my uncle. I looked at the memorial and was delighted with your editing for privacy. I found one thing that has me scratching my head.
The DOB is March 11, 1937 in everything I have. It is also the date in the obituary and in the memorial. The DOB on the tombstone is April 11, 1937. I have no clue why the difference. Do you have any thoughts? Find A Grave 146917508
I checked on another aunt's Find A Grave memorial and was really upset. The person that created the posting even put her SS# on there! I try not to get too rattled by things, but that one set me off. I really had difficulty understanding why.
Really appreciate your efforts.

Wanda White that's buried at Ashbank Cemetery in Winston County is my Great Aunt. Would you being willing to transfer her memorial over to me? Thank you :)
|Sharpie||Lewis Fletcher Gunn|
I am the great granddaughter of Lewis Gunn. His death certificate says his name was Lewis Franklin Gunn, but early in my family research, I found Lewis Fletcher. I later found the death certificate and don't have any evidence for the name Fletcher. Do you have any documentation for this name? I would be grateful for your help with this mystery.

You recently sent me an update for this entry. I have added his wife's obituary as well as added and linked a son, Joseph. I've also added his obituary and linked him to his wife, who I also added her obituary. click on the obits for publication and date. I have to go to another source fro Fred's obit, but that, too, is on my radar.
I see you already sent links for the son aloysius in South Carolina.

Sure. I've been doing a lot of searching through microfilm recently and just thought any of the extras I had found when searching the same dates would be good for people. I'll get it removed for you.

|Jane Feldmann Cook||RE: Bertha Zink edit|
Thank you Nala. I feel comfortable seeing both of those. No wonder I couldn' find Bertha's obit; they were probably out of town. Do you know the date of his obit? It mentioned that he died "yesterday" which means I could post his date. Thanks for everything. Jane
|Jane Feldmann Cook||Bertha Zink edit|
Hi, you sent me an edit to link Bertha Zink at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore to J. Charles Zink. I like to confirm info before I make changes but could not find a source. I saw the 1920 and 1930 US censuses in Baltimore but could not confirm these were the correct people. It's possible I may have seen them also in Pennsylvania in the 1940 census and if they died in PA it might explain why I couldn't find a death notice in the Baltimore newspaper. Do you have a source or something you could direct me to? Thanks so much. Jane
|Connie Day||Daniel Woodrow Urquhart|
Daniel W. Urquhart was my grandfather. His wife was Laura and they lived in Sandersville, GA. However, his patents were not Richard and Anna Urquhart. I would like to know the source of information used for you to determine his parents names to make a possible correction on Find A Grave. Please email me direct at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
