FAG (FindAGrave) is a GRAVE REGISTRATION site. |
Read the FAQs re transfers and editing. I reserve the right to decline edits.
Birth dates calculated from the stone will not be added; they are notoriously incorrect and anyone can do the calculation; it does not add info. Submit birth dates WITH PRIMARY SOURCE to "Edit/Suggest any other correction or addition". Birth dates submitted without a primary source will be deleted.
My pictures are for your personal use by citing me as the source.
Consider making virtual cemeteries for your ancestors/relatives if your request for a transfer puts you out of guidelines.
Requests not made correctly or left on this page will be DELETED.
You may add pictures yourself to any memorial by clicking on Add Photo then select grave, person, family, or other.
Let's all follow the guidelines and have a wonderful experience. Have fun searching this site.

|Howland Davis||William DeForest Fabyan|
Elsie - please note that William's father did not die in Washington; that is another Horace G. Fabyan. William's father died in 1875/76 at Fremont, Dodge, NE (killed by Indians).
Also, William married Philmont, Columbia, NY 11 Apr 1888 Etta M.[name] Damm; born Feb 1868 at Claverack, Columbia, NY [of Philmont at time of marriage]; died [date] at [place]; bookkeeper in 1900; daughter of Jonathan (born [date] 1827 at [place], Bavaria, Germany) and Julia [maiden name] (born [date] 1828 at [place], Bavaria, Germany) Damm; divorced [year] (by 1900).
I have been compiling a Fabyan Genealogy for about 17 years; I can provide the sources if you want them.
|John Wynd||RE: re Maria|
Thank you for your message. If you get a chance to see if one of the unreadable gravestones is Maria Van Every (perhaps a couple of letters are OK?) that would be great. If not then that's no problem as I am happy with what I have. A photo would be a cherry on top of the icing on the cake.
Have found information in an 1858 letter stating that Aunt Rowley is living with uncle Sam Terpening, and can now be certain that Hannah Rowland was Maria's daughter.
