Please do not contact me about fotos...I did not get a copyright for my walks in the cemetery...they may be used on your site. I actually find it hard to believe that anyone would get an actual copy right for these fotos...but I will let that go...

I think these names belong in a family name. So if you are related let me know.

I became the family historian after my aunt passed away
some years ago. I would ask of you to please transfer Clifford Cavitt (125815263); Ernest Cavitt (125815318) and Iva Cavitt (125815300). While I am still learning, I must admit, I have never found much this rewarding.
Thanx in advance,
Debi West (47622403)

RE: hi
Georgie Brimston is the second cousin 1x removed of my husband. I became intrigued with photos, letters, postcards, etc. sent from his mother Mamie (Mary) McCormick Brimston to her aunt in Pennsylania and did some research on the family. Mamie's husband, George G. Brimston was quite interesting. I also got a bit of information when we visited the museaum in Dawson City.

I also sent you a correction for his father's death date.

George G. Brimston died of pneumonia on 25 Dec 1923 St. Mary's Hospital, Dawson, Yukon, Canada. Dec 31 might have been his burial date.

George’s obituary, funeral record, and the Yukon River Basin, Deaths and Burials Index, 1887-2007, show the death date as 25 Dec.

The funeral record showed that his occupation was "Sherif of Yukon." He lived in Dawson. He died of pneumonia, at age 56, at St. Mary's Hospital on Dec. 25, 1923 Funeral services were at St. Paul's [Anglican] Church. Clergyman as J. Henry Moody. Physician was Dr. J. O. Lockefell?. He was born Dec. 10, 1867, in Pettigoe, County Fernanagh, Ireland [I believe he was actually born in Ederney, about 8 miles from Pettigoe]. Casket was P710, size 6/2, steel brocade, manufactured by Imperial Casket Co.. He was buried in the Pioneer Cemetery. The funeral charge on Dec. 30 was $200, which was paid by his estate on Jan. 4, 1924.

RE: Walter Hueni
I did a little research and found another news clipping that states that Walters body was repatriated back from Cuba to the US. He died in 1898 during the war and the body was returned in 1900. Is this your same understanding?

RE: I will try harder to explain
No, it doesn't upset my day if you are slow. As a matter of fact, I do not follow up on edits I send as a rule unless someone that I got it from later on asks if I added it or if I sent the edit on to someone else for a certain memorial. Only then do I question or send a second time. Other then that, I send the edit and forget it. If it takes you a day, a week or a month I do not check back or care. I sent it to whom ever manages a memorial and my job is done. Not my worry. I have enough on my plate of my own to keep up with. I get 25 to 45 edits a day in emails and auto edits of my own.

It does not upset me if you or anyone else takes their good ole time. Everyone has more or less time then the other. And if they do or do not add to their memorials. I just send an obit to add as much info to someone's memorial, just to help someone researching a name plus it makes a much more complete memorial then just a name.

If people find faults in my memorials, then please correct me. I welcome people helping to improve my memorials. I am not an English/grammar major and do work with two web sites and at times I am very sure I make many mistakes and don't always pay all the attention to proper sentence breaks and paragraph spacing like I should.

Once again for anyone reading this, I do not do ANY editing of any sort of any obit edits I send to others and have no control in how they arrive....proper breaks or none at all. I just copy and past the original. If people fix, don't fix, like or don't like, add or don't add is up to them. I transcribe nothing. And don't care how long or if anyone adds an obit I send it or not. I do my best and send the 'Edit' and the rest is up to manager.
I am okay.

RE: I will try harder to explain
Let ME explain AGAIN too, for about the third time.... I DO NOT do ANY typing, editing, correcting or altering of anything I send to you. SO I am not going to change anything, like make proper sentence breaks or paragraphs, except to stop sending you obituaries that are only meant to make/improve YOUR MEMORIALS for the families.

I get sent them from the the web site owner to add if it is my memorial or take them from her web site because I am working on that particular cemetery. If it isn't mine to edit I just copy and past the info 'AS IS' from the original and send them to you. How they come to you in Find A Grave edit systems messaging is not my fault. I send 'as is' from the original sent to me.

Simple solution.....If copy and past screws them up and you don't have time to fix them from the original, instead of having you get so upset about something you are too busy to fix, and want to complain to me about something I already told you before I have no control over that is okay. I will just stop sending ANY obits or edits to you that improve you memorials. It's just that easy and far less work for me if that's your choice.
