If I do not contact you, I'm resting in pieces under my marker.

I do not have the need to usurp thousands of memorials just for the sake of collecting them... I do work individual memorials to the fullest extent possible. Can someone please answer a question for me? WHY do people usurp memorials, don't research them, and then put demands about documentation??? If you can not research "collected" memorials… why collect them???

Some say this is not a genealogical site and to use Ancestry for that; however, I have corresponded with many who do not have access to Ancestry, so I oblige them by including as much information as possible on each memorial I research, particularly concentrating on memorials in South Carolina.

My father, David Kennedy, was an avid genealogical researcher, so you could say, this was one of my inherited interests. He started his search in 1959 after meeting then Senator John F. Kennedy in Washington, DC. He asked my father if we were Catholic or Protestant Kennedys, after which Senator Kennedy suggested that since we were not Catholic, we must have entered the US via Northern Ireland. And the search continues...

Some of my direct lines are Kennedy, Brown, Clayton, Merritt, Head, Prothro, Crouch, Wright, Goodwin, Bledsoe, Breazeale, Smith, Guyton, Moorhead, Kirksey, Wyatt, Griffin, Richardson, Meyer, Johnston, Lott, Knox, Gaston, Barnett, Ray, Sharp, Addis, Alverson.
