|I am a native of Vermont and grew up there and in Florida and I currently live in Connecticut. I am also a contributor to the Vermont in the Civil War website. http://vermontcivilwar.org/index.php|
I have transcribed two different cemeteries for the Palm Beach County (FL) Genealogical Society, The Boynton Beach Memorial Park and the Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery. I work on various historical research projects and am trying to locate the graves of those Vermont Volunteers from the Civil War.

Your memorial 87782363 is a duplicate of 11754142, created Sep 15, 2005.
|Paul Barton||Charles Wesley French|
#110955465 and #88128550, are both the same person.
There is another contributor that has entered Charles' information.
His sites need to be combined.
I will leave her the same message.
Sorry, I'm new to Find A Grave and made a duplicate memorial for my great grandfather Albert Camp Raymond #162175375. I don't know how to merge the information, and delete it. Your #75732674.

Hi: In response to your question: "Here is what I got from another contributor, is it safe to take this down?
Following provided by #46865272
The cemetery database indicates that Holmes/Mauck family members are buried in Section 14, block c, lot 36, graves 1-8, but found no markers for this family at that location."
My response is: Yes, you can take it down because I found the gravestones and took photos of them and placed them at the FG memorials. I don't know who #46865272 is, but I still think this information came from me when I first looked for the graves and failed to find them.--JJ

Hi. I have posted all the photos I took of the Holmes/Mauck stones today, including photos for James Reuben Holmes and James Willis Holmes. The confusion probably came from me. I tried to find the gravestones earlier, and after looking carefully I posted that the markers weren't there. That comment got transferred to some of the Find a Grave memorials. When I looked again today, I looked more broadly than the cemetery map and database indicated, and I found them. I have notified the FG manager so the earlier comments about the markers not being there can be weeded out. So all is good.--JJ

I wish I could take credit for getting the photo, but I was simply working on my own to-do list. I didn't know there'd been a request for the photo until I'd uploaded it.
|Janet Muff||Henry Mattocks gravestone|
I photographed the military marker for Henry Mattocks last summer, but his stone is below ground and inaccessible.

Thanks to the Sunday School Class. I am uploading others/adding graves to the cemetery based on these images. It is amazing how many of the stones don't exist anymore that they would be lost without what that class did.
