Bio and Links
Bio Photo My goal on the Find a Grave website is to find the final resting place of ancestors that have laid the foundation of our lives. I think it is facinating to chart the path that helps connect our lives and our children's lives to those that carved out a new life, under harsh conditions in a new world to bring us the freedom and lifestyle we have today.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW before you trespass on Private Property to take photos....

The Law regarding photographs on Private Property

BE CONSIDERATE of those families who may still be in mourning!

Praising the Lord for my ancestors who were faithful to the Holy Scriptures and laid the foundations for those of us who would come after.

Romans 8:37-39 (NAS)
"But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Heard the song at this link and realized how God's Grace extends through all generations!

Martin Winters 90737609
Hi Suzanne,
My daughter has a photo of Martin Winters. He is her Great Great Great grandfather.
Her name is Katherin Winters, her dad's name is Wessley Winters and Wessley's day is Samuel Maynard Winters.
If you would like a photo of Martin Winters for this memorial, let me know. The photo must have belonged to Oda Winters deceased.

Our pictures and genealogy stolen
Hi Suzanne,
My mother was also from NC, moving to OH in 1921. You can see in my BIO my ancestors surnames. Did you know that has merged with Find A Grave? You can put all the notes you want to on your memorial about copyright and they were all taken anyway by this merger and spread all over the world. A huge class action law suite should be filed against both Find A Grave and because they have stolen our genealogy and pictures without approval. I was so upset when I saw my years of hard work and family pictures on Ancestry and other web sites. I went in right away and deleted most of my family pictures. It was already too late for many of them. My NC ancestors and cousins are in Watauga, Wilkes, and Caldwell Counties.
