Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began working on my own family tree in August 2009, and I have been particularly drawn to the community here on Find-A-Grave. Given my own interest in history and teaching, I am impressed by the collaborative nature of this site and the people who work together to make it successful.

In terms of genealogy, I am particularly interested in the Edge family of Delaware/Maryland/New Jersey; the Boyers of Philadelphia and surrounding areas; the Warrens of Philadelphia and Bristol; the Bartecks of Poland and Wilkes Barre, PA; the Merry family of County Louth, Ireland and Philadelphia; the Keelers of Philadelphia; and the Bohannans of Oswego, New York.

A note on photo requests: if possible, please try to contact the cemetery office ahead of time and find out the section in which a grave resides. I cannot always visit when the office is open, but even a section letter/number is a big help. If you cannot get a specific row/grave number, I am more than willing to search for it, and a section helps narrow that search considerably. I will always give priority to those photo requests that include section/plot information.

If anyone wishes to use my photographs for their personal family trees (including online trees for sites like Ancestry), you have my permission.

Tom, did I ever reply to you about the Edge family related to the Peacock/Rebstock family?

I'm the great-great granddaughter of Laurence Kane, who died October 23, 1913. Thank you for creating this memorial. I have not seen his grave in person since I've never been to Illinois.

I have one question to ask of you: In this Find a Grave Memorial for Laurence Kane I see the words "Son of James Kane and Mary Murphy" -- can you tell me where you found that information? I am creating a family tree and this is the first place where I've seen parent names for Laurence Kane.

RE: Please contact me
Sadly, the baby must have died about time of birth. The child just appears as Baby Edge Rebstock. Last night I found that Arlie Benny Edge married Florence Stuart. Flo's Mom was Alice Cary Schurch. My Mother's maternal tree leads to the Schurch family. I think maybe my GrGdmom and Alice were sister's. So looks like we are long lost relatives. Strange how things untangle.

If you have any info, I would love to have it. I had a box with pictures and found one of Alice and another with Florence Stewart didn't know where they belonged. I found Flo's name appears spelled two different ways.

Thanks for sending me on this hunt, I had long given up until I saw you on Find a Grave.

I have some interest in the Edge Family from Riverside, Burlington County abt 1920. I saw an Edge Family in the row across from my Grandparents and found a Baby named Edge in our family.
