I wish I'd become interested in genealogy much sooner than I did. It was when I realized that genealogy was more than just names & dates, but discovering the actual "story" of each ancestors life, that I got really interested! Fortunately for me, my mother was an avid family genealogist and so was one of her aunts. They passed the torch to me and now I'm trying to organize what they had and add to it. I am grateful to all the other genealogists out there who have helped and shared information with me, and I hope to be able to return their kindness by sharing the multitude of documents my family has passed on to me, as well as find ways to help others who are looking for family information in my locality.
