Thoughts of my loved ones are my reminders that they too think of and watch over me.|
My passion at find-a-grave is reuniting the memorials of children with their parents and siblings. For so many years and miles their names have been separated and unconnected.
I appreciate every photo taken for me and will do the same for anyone that I can.
My permission is hereby granted to anyone who wants to download, copy, or use any photos that I have posted on the Find-A-Grave website.
I sincerely hope that I have helped others make discoveries and the connections that they have been trying to make.
Virtual flowers are appreciated.

I notice he is listed as being in Co. B of the 28th CT during the Civil War. I can't find that information, can you provide a source - thank you!

The Samuel Morrell map of Woodland Cemetery shows GAR membership, and National Parks Service lists him as a Private, Co. D, 95th NY Infantry in the Civil War. Lists burial in Section E, lot 36, grave 12.

He is listed as "Major" on the webpage. Was that from Spanish-American War service?
He is also listed on the Samuel Morrell cemetery map of Woodland Cemetery, as a veteran of both the Civil War and the Spanish-American War. Do you have any information on Civil War service? National Parks Service has a couple of references for Charles S. Burns (no "e") with Ohio and Illinois regiments.

Well, Mom was just wondering if I might have some half siblings and how in the world my dad could have had time to marry someone else. I am glad to have confirmation that it was an error. She will be glad also!
thanks for responding, I appreciate it so much.

Please Email me with info how Debra A Higgins' name was listed as spouse of Don Ray Van Meter.
The whole family was not aware of this marriage!

I sent you an edit email with the specific information as much as I know at the moment as to her parents. I haven't been able to find her parent's resting place to link them in on Findagrave yet, although based on the information we do have, her father passed away in Moultrie County, IL. and her mother in Piatt County, IL. Her father had 3 other wives after Cynthia's mother passed away sometime between 1842 and 1846.

Mary Ellen Higgs Jewell was my great grandmother. I hate to ask, but, if she's not related to you, would you mind transferring the site for her grave over to me? I just found the site for my great grandfather, Toliver (who is buried under the same headstone) and discovered it was owned by another person. I'm sending a request to them as well. I'd like to see them managed by the same person and their information updated and in sync with each other.
I would be very grateful. Thank you.

Thank you for the information. I did find the 1930 census lists D. S. as a son. The birthdate is off by 2 years but that isn't that isn't that unusual for census records. Most places list his name as Odis Milton. I don't know if they are the same person or not.
Appreciate your help.

A relative of mine just informed me that you have a memorial for Susan Hall Robson #141995421, submitted in 2015. I had a memorial for her #123126437 already submitted in 2014. I'm not sure what the procedure is when there are duplicate memorials. How can we fix this. Susan would be my great-great aunt. Her mother was definitely Eliza McKeever Hall.

Okay, thank you. If I find anything different, I'll let you know.
