|Joel Shore||Re: John H Cole (1880)|
Note that the Mt Hope Interment Records (http://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00000855.pdf) record two John H Cole's (1880) of very different ages who died in 1880 and are buried in this plot. Daryl Verstreate only made one memorial, so I am made another one (Memorial #178461275) and will post appropriate photos to both.
|Charles Carroll||Mason Cole|
Searching Mt Hope Cemetery records, I found Range 4, lot 96 to be a large plot with 32 graves of Cole family. There is a central monument with many Cole family inscribed including Mason's.
The plot is labeled "Mason Cole's estate". He was
83 years, 4 months old when he died. Did you know there were 2 Mason Cole's?
|S. Segall||Re: Golda McMurray at Valhalla Cemetery|
My friend (USC Girl) and I have searched the entirety of Valhalla Cemetery 4 times and have not found Golda McMurray. Would you please call the office and verify she has a headstone and the exact location of her burial? Without this information she may never be found. This is a very poorly maintained cemetery. I had to have a headstone for another requester dug out from under 3" of grass a few days ago.
If she does not have a headstone, but you would like a picture of the area and gps coordinates I'm happy to do that for you.
|Sarah Pullen ||RE: Mary STRONG BROWN|
I am not related to the Brown Family but am an Allegan County researcher. Mary Strong had a daughter Mary M. Nicholson who is buried in Allegan. It is Mary Nicholson's death certificate that gave her mother's maiden name. Mary Nicholson's father was John Nicholson.
|Angela Owens Jando||RE: Library|
You know, something told me he had passed. Goodbfornhim to now rejoice with all of those he researched so deeply!
Thanks for the info on the library. I will check it out tonight.

It has been forever since I have visited the library but I need to go to get some forms. Do you recall the hours for the odd library on Leonard? Have you heard from Al Muth at all?

Aloha, transferred to you! My Wrights are Philinda/Philenda Wright Dye (FG# 110988488), her father Charles Wright (d. WI but burial unknown) and his father Edmund James Wright (1763-1804) who mariied Zerviah Sophia Rider (1765-1840). Charles was brother of Augustin, Sylvanus who ARE in FG. I have been trying to link their families and other Wrights as I figure them out, figuring at some point, like a jig-saw puzzle, another piece will fall into place.
|Carole ||Joseph Wiedbrauk|
I got the name from a cemetery reading.
