You are welcome. I think we all go through those spurts!
|feeney||maryalice worked with Dr. S. Scott|
Hello, My mother is 91. This past weekend we looked up Dr. Scott on the internet and this site appeared. My mother, MaryAlice worked for Dr. Scott in S.F. for 10 years. She was also a friend of the receptionist who lived with a Dr. near the ocean in S.F. Dr. Scott gave my mother one of the two flowered white serving bowls which came around 'the horn'. My mother has spoken so lovingly of Dr. Scott for decades. For some reason, this past weekend his name came up in a conversation, which it has many times over the years. He was so good and kind to my mother. I know the building and window which was Dr. Scott's office at Union Square.
I assume you are related to Dr. Scott. If so, I want to pass on the message of how kind Dr. Scott was to my mother for 10 years. about 1943-1953?? She worked for a dentist Dr. M___?? (forgot his name)after Dr. Scott moved to Santa Cruz/my mother said Monterey. In about 1955 she married my father. My mother's name is MaryAlice Feeney from Davis, Ca. Now she lives in Woodland Ca ( a few miles from Davis), and doing very well. Elizabeth

Many thanks for adding the great gravestone photos!
First time I've ever seen dates listed as "1ten" and "2ten" in any language, and will have to ascertain if that means 1st and 2nd or what!

The linking was not done by me. The link was made from Elva's memorial. You will need to contact contributor DSHT (#47325490) who created Elva's memorial to have the link removed.

If it is for personal use, I don't mind if you use it. This is the only photo I have of Linwood.
Are you Della? Grandma said she thought this was you.

I was able to locate the following stones in Pigeon Fork.
Moses Scott (dates are a little hard to read but stone is in nice shape, just worn)
Sarah A. Reddish 1820-1902
I. H. Reddish 1849-1934
George M. Reddish 1891-1891
Mattie Reddish 1858-1906
J. S. Reddish 1813-1885
There is another stone that when you trace the letters seems to be Sarah A. Reddish, with what appears to be much earlier dates than the other one. Very hard to make out...perhaps a tracing would give more info, but I didn't have the materials with me to try it. The stones are all in one row and next to each other. Hope this helps with your research.

I will be happy to check and see if the stone(s) are still there. Give me a few days.

I have linked the Doak's (husband and his parents) and transferred them to you, hopefully you will have photos, obits and bio info to add. Since these were transferred to me, I can't delete the one for Della*, nor can you. I did change it to just initials, and removed the birth month and date. (*memorials that are transferred from the original submitter can't be deleted.)
