|I am trying to help people with their family history. |
I will continue to list a new memorial so people can find it when the first and last names are totally different than Green Hills shows.
To the wonderful, nice people on findagrave, I will gladly add dates, relationships, plot and grave, etc., just let me know.
If you want a transfer, please include your findagrave contributor number and the relationship (she's my aunt, neighbor, friend. For the last 2, indicate how long you've known them.)
If I'm not related, or you're a closer relative or I have known them a shorter time, I will transfer.
I'm in the process of adding a source to the Fredericksburg National Cemetery monuments. Until I finish, it's listed in the book Civil War Burials Fredericksburg Virginia,compiled and edited by Maude E. Mercer Sellman 1979.
I walked Green Hills for exercise, sometimes forgot the broom to sweep the stones. If you need a better picture, request a photo from a volunteer.
I don't use my real name cuz of a toxic couple on findagrave! I believe they are inactive now!
Happy ancestor hunting!

|Doug Brown||Jacob Brown II|
You mention that Jacob Brown II is believed to be the son of Jacob Brown I and Mary Armfield. I am trying to prove that same connection for DAR/SAR membership but lack "official" documents. (No census data or church records). Do you have any such documentation?
not sure of his death ... i have the same gravestone shown for another Thomas of Haddonfield, NJ:
he was a Capt in 8th NJ Regiment and died 3 May 1863
an official burial card shows he was buried 3 May 1864 on the battlefield of Chancellorsville
something is wrong with this "official" card ... NY should be NJ and he died 1863, not 1864
the battle of Chancellorsville ended 6 May 1863

|LLove||Frances Winslow Love of Piney Grove, TN|
I recently went to Piney Grove cemetery and did a hunt for Frances and did not find her among the head stones. I am guessing perhaps that her marker is just one of those old ones worn down? I was wondering how you found the records of where she is buried? Piney Grove seems like as of about 2009 it has been deserted (last month on calendar in church that was still hanging). Any information would be wonderful! Frances is more of a mystery in our family but seems she may have had some interesting family heritage.

|Chip Landry||S P Robertson|
The date of death listed on the memorial page is incorrect. The 7th Louisiana Cavalry, CSA, was not mustered into service until March 1864, eleven years after the listed DOD.
I also sent you an edit on the correct spelling of his last name.
|Christopher Padgett||Memorial #: 182953948|
Any chance you may know where this veteran is buried? I stumbled upon your KIA memorial and thought you may know. I haven't been able to find any military record of his burial/death other than the obituary posted on his F.A.G. memorial. Any tips/suggestions you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!

Please remove the last 2 sentence of the comment. Then add as 1st sentence. There were also several Eli Campbells in Baltimore Hundred, Sussex Co., DE and across the state line in Worcester Co., MD.
|Ann Watson||Robert Moore|
I failed to tell you that Robert Moore, Sr. is buried in Linn Public Cemetery, Linn, Osage, MO
Find A Grave #7986533.
|Ann Watson||Robert Moore|
There is a Robert Moore in a cemetery in Grant Co, OK. The name of the cemetery is "Moore Cemetery" I don't know the family well enough to know if this is one of the missing children of Robert Moore, Sr. Just thought I would pass this along.
Also in this same Cemetery is a Pearlie Moore, if you know this family, where does Pearlie Moore fit in? The only date was death date 10-11-1895
I am looking for a Pearl Leo Moore, born in Lovell, Ok 10-24-1893. and died in ElReno, OK 04-03-1940. I have documentation of the birth and death dates for this one.
Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
