Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was introduced to Find a Grave about 2000 by a cousin. Together we tried to add as many members of our family as we possibly could. It wasn't long before my cousin became the subject of his own memorial page. Eventually, I realized that there was more I could do than just search for my own family. So, I began trying to add photos whenever I could. Recently I became involved in a cemetery project in my area. A friend and I began searching through the hills, bushes and briers for long abandoned cemeteries, adding what we find to Find a Grave.
Find a Grave is a great site for people who are researching their family. We have made it our goal to do whatever we can to make it the very best it can be.

RE: Sarah "Sally" Lee
She's an ancestor of my husband, through his mother's side. One of my sons has Campbell as his middle name, from this particular line of the family.
You have an impressive number of memorials. Thank you for all your hard work. Caethe Richardson

John M. Sinclair tombstone
Donna, just wanted to thank you for locating and photographing the tombstone of my 2nd great grandparents, John M and Loucinda Southworth Sinclair. Buried in a related family cemetery, Mefford, it would have been otherwise lost to time (and a tree trunk) if not for your and others' efforts. Thank you.

The closest library that has the book William Glass of Virginia and Kentucky, is over 100 miles away. Does this have information about Elizabeth Wilson Glass in it?

I am trying to prove that Elizabeth Wilson Glass (my 4th great grandmother) lived in Scott County and that she died there, too. In her memorial you mentioned court records have her living in Scott County. Would you be able to tell me what records, specifically, you were able to find so that I can try and obtain copies of the information. Thank you very much for all the work you have done in finding and recording information. It is greatly appreciated.

RE: Joseph Green
I agree that it would be nice to add dates. Currently, I have limited time to look up but I think we should check the Land Grant for Joseph Green and see if we can verify a match to his property and possible later ownership by a Barnett.

I will endeavor to do that - accessing some of these old records and Wills is really something!

Please let me know about what I have as Joseph S.?

I went through my notes and I believe that the J.B. Green buried in the Barnett Cemetery (dates unknown) in Scott County is probably Joseph Green. You discovered this grave! The initials J.B. were used by my Great-Grandfather Joshua B. Green who is Joseph Green's 1767-1814 of Scott County, Kentucky Great-Grandson.
