I did see that his online MO death certificate says he was buried in Lee's Summit, and this cemetery is the logical place. Maybe the online records just overlooked him.
|Kendall Mellem||Photograph request for Theodore Tennison|
I visited the Lee's Summit cemetery this afternoon and found no marker for Theodore Tennison where one would expect to find it, near James C. Tennison and Mary Tennison. The online cemetery records do not list a Theodore Tennison, except as the owner of the other two Tennison graves.
The cemetery sexton can be reached at 816-969-1590 between 11AM and 3 PM, Monday-Friday, should you wish to call her. She is very helpful.

Good Day Elaine,
Betty's site is Stratford Lot 67-6. In the photo the left marker can be zoom in to see its marked 67-4&5. The edge of marker on the right had 68-1&2 Paul & Louise Ruark. So getting location from the office and the gentleman stated that he couldn't find the marker inscription card, pretty much concludes that she is buried here. Hence the flags and view so family can locate in the future.
Maybe a family member can get a marker installed.

Good Morning Elaine,
You're not missing things. I print the request list which doesn't print the info icon stuff. At the cemetery I take photos on the list and while at that grave site take the overall view and any family markers I might spot. I post first those requested items on the request page (saves time search for the right person). Your clicking on the request button for Carroll Payne allowed for the quick posting from that day's photo group.
Hope that helps, :)

I had to duck into very over growth of bushes and weeds (poison ivy too) to get the pictures. Hopefully the ground crew at the cemetery and cut it back so that a better picture can be taken.

No problem, glad to help. Check the changes made to Robert's Find A Grave page. Was able to research and add Lillian to Highland and connect both sets of parents. "S/O" means "son of", "H/O" "husband of" and so on. Jim took the photos on Robert's page. His name "Jim" is underlined under the photo, giving him credit. Click on that and it will take you to his Find A Grave member page and you can leave a message. I have already asked if he took photos of Lillian's marker (we usually do even without a request) and have asked if he will post the family surname marker as well as hers if he has it. Back in May I asked the creator of the Church Hill Memory site listing Robert there to delete it. I have asked again. ( Robert is listed twice under siblings because of the additional site) Val

Please thank Jim. I had actually been to Highland after I determined Mr. Griffith was not in Ch Hill Memory Gardens, but the cemetery was huge and there was no contact info available to try to determine the grave location. I was on a trip and passing through and just couldn't roam and search, so I had given it up for lost until Jim found it! So glad to be part of the solution. Val
